Apr 13, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) will not play in the Bucks’ season finale against the Pacers, Aron Yohannes of BrewHoop.com reports.Bayless has missed the Bucks past six games, and with nothing on the line in the season finale it’s not too surprising that the team is keeping him out. Look for Rashad Vaughn and Tyler Ennis to again see increased minutes in Bayless’ absence.
Apr 13, 2016Khris MiddletonDoub WedRestMiddleton is not expected to return Wednesday against the Pacers as he is to be rested.
Apr 11, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) hopes to play in Milwaukee’s season finale against the Pacers Wednesday, Charlie Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless will have missed six consecutive games following Tuesday’s matchup with the Magic. The Bucks have a very thing backcourt, so Bayless could provide a welcoming presence for the season Finale. Expect on update on his status closer to tip-off.
Apr 10, 2016Greg MonroeOut SunRestMonroe will not play Sunday against the 76ers due to a day of rest.
Apr 10, 2016Greg MonroeOUTRestMonroe will sit out Sunday’s game against the Sixers for rest, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks have nothing left to play for at this stage of the season, as they’ve long been eliminated from the playoffs. As a result, coach Jason Kidd will give Monroe the night off to reduce the late season strain on his body. Miles Plumlee is expected to move into the starting lineup in his place and should see an increase in minutes, while John Henson is also a candidate to see extensive playing time. Monroe will likely be back in the lineup for Monday’s game against the Magic.
Apr 8, 2016Khris MiddletonOUTThighMiddleton (thigh) has been ruled out of Friday’s tilt with the Celtics, Radio play-by-play announcer Ted Davis reports. The decision to keep Middleton on the bench Friday night isn’t all too surprising considering he was held out of practice on Thursday. It will be his third straight miss as he continues to nurse a left thigh strain. Damien Inglis is a likely candidate to start in his place on Friday night.
Apr 7, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) didn’t practice Thursday and won’t travel with the Bucks on their three-game road trip that kicks off Friday against the Celtics, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless has already missed three consecutive games due to a hyperextended knee, and with the news that he’ll miss the road trip, he’ll only have one game after that to potentially return before the Bucks close out the season. It seems likely that the Bucks will opt to hold Bayless out and instead let him focus on getting an early start to his offseason. Rashad Vaughn and Tyler Ennis should continue to see expanded minutes while Bayless is sidelined.
Apr 7, 2016Khris MiddletonOUTThighMiddleton (thigh) didn’t practice Thursday and is being regarded as day-to-day in advance of Friday’s game against the Celtics, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. “If I feel I can go out there and play, I definitely will, but right now I just don’t feel I can play,” Middleton said Thursday.Middleton’s bothersome left thigh bruise has kept him out for two straight games, but he was able to get some shots up Thursday, despite sitting out of the practice session. The swingman will travel with the Bucks to Boston as they embark on a three-game road trip, but given that the team is bound for the draft lottery, it’s probably more likely than not that Middleton misses Friday’s contest.
Apr 5, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) will not play Tuesday against the Cavaliers.Bayless was considered doubtful for Tuesday’s game, and it has now been confirmed that he will remain on the sidelines for a third straight game. Rashad Vaughn and Tyler Ennis should both continue to see extended minutes with Bayless out.
Apr 5, 2016Khris MiddletonOUTThighMiddleton (thigh) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers.Middleton is set to miss his second consecutive game Tuesday due to a nagging thigh bruise. The Bucks will start Giannia Antetokounmpo and Rashad Vaughn in the back court while Johnny O’Bryant will make a rare appearance in the starting five against the Cavaliers. Middleton’s next chance to return will come Friday against the Celtics.
Apr 4, 2016Khris MiddletonOUTThighMiddleton (thigh) didn’t practice Monday and is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Middleton was held out of Sunday’s game against The Bulls due to a left thigh bruise, and he’s apparently still bothered by the ailment. The Bucks have nothing but lottery position to play for at this point, so they certainly won’t rush him back, and update likely won’t come until after Tuesday’s morning shootaround. If Middleton is ultimately held out again, Damien Inglis would likely be in line to make another start in his place.
Apr 4, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) didn’t practice Monday and is considered doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.A hyperextended knee has forced Bayless to miss both of the last two games, and he’s on track to sit out again Wednesday, meaning rookie Rashad Vaughn would likely make another start at point guard. With Bayless and a number of other regulars out Sunday against the Bulls, Vaughn played 29 minutes, while Tyler Ennis (31) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (43) also saw increased time in the backcourt.
Apr 3, 2016Khris MiddletonProb SunThighMiddleton has missed the last two games with a left thigh strain but is expected to play Sunday against the 76ers.
Apr 3, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) will not play in Sunday’s game against the Bucks, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless is missing his second consecutive game due to a sore right knee. His status is unclear going forward and he should be considered questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers. Rashad Vaughn started in Bayless’ place on Friday and figures to see a minutes increase with Bayless out once again.
Apr 3, 2016Khris MiddletonOUTThighMiddleton will not play in Sunday’s game against the Bulls due to a left thigh strain. The Bucks originally said that Middleton would start, but just before tip-off they announced that he would be held out and that Damien Inglis would start in his place. With the Bucks eliminated from the playoffs they have nothing to gain by having Middleton play through an injury, so he’s likely being held out as a precautionary measure. He should be considered questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers.

Apr 1, 2016Tyler EnnisQues FriShoulderEnnis is questionable to play Friday against the Magic due to a shoulder injury.
Apr 1, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) is listed as doubtful for Friday’s matchup with the Magic, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless suffered a hyper-extended right knee during Wednesday’s matchup with the Suns, which is still giving him some discomfort and is expected to force him to miss Friday’s outing with the Magic. With Bayless likely out, look for Giannis Antetokoumpo to get extended run at the point, while Greivis Vasquez and Tyler Ennis could see some extra minutes as well. We should see Bayless’ status updated shortly before tip off.
Apr 1, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) has been ruled out of Friday’s matchup with the Magic. The decision to rest Bayless for the night isn’t all that surprising considering he hyper-extended his knee in Wednesday night’s win over the Suns. The severity of the injury is still relatively unknown but with only six games left after Friday’s tilt, Bayless could be shut down for the season if the injury doesn’t improve. Rookie Rashad Vaughn will make his first start in Bayless’ absence.

Mar 30, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless suffered a right hyperextended knee in Wednesday’s matchup with the Suns, and will be unable to return.Bayless exits Wednesday’s contest with two points, one rebound, one assist, and one steal in 12 minutes of action. His status for Friday’s game against the Magic is currently up in the air. Expect an update on his status when more information comes to light.

Mar 29, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Suns, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Vasquez has yet to receive medical clearance to return from his ankle injury, but is listed as doubtful rather than out, indicating that there is a chance he could return relatively soon. However, even if he does return it isn’t clear that he would have much of a role for the Bucks, with the team giving more minutes at point guard to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tyler Ennis as the regular season comes to a close.
Mar 29, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) went through practice Tuesday, but still hasn’t been cleared for game action, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. With only eight games remaining on the Bucks’ schedule, Vasquez, who will become a free agent this offseason, is running out of time to show suitors that he’s healthy heading into the summer. Given that he’s been limited to only 16 games this season and will turn 30 next January, it’s unclear if the rebuilding Bucks have any interest in bringing the veteran back in 2016-17. With that in mind, the team may just choose to shut Vasquez down for the campaign and give more opportunities at point guard to the emerging Giannis Antetokounmpo and second-year player Tyler Ennis.
Mar 26, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Hornets, Aron Yohannes of BrewHoop.com reports.Vasquez is nearing the finish line of his recovery from right ankle surgery, as he took part in the Bucks’ shootaround Friday morning and drew positive remarks from coach Jason Kidd. While the veteran point guard is trending in the right direction, the Bucks have yet to formally clear Vasquez to play in games. He’ll likely need to put in a few more full-contact practices before the team green lights his return.
Mar 25, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) is yet to be medically cleared, the Journal Sentinel reports.Vasquez was present at shootaround Friday morning, but coach Jason Kidd noted that the point guard, who’s been out since mid-December, is still not quite ready. “He’s doing better,” Kidd remarked. “He’s making positive steps going forward. I don’t know how many games (he could play). We have to start with the process of being medically cleared before he can play in a game.” With the Bucks all but out of playoff contention, they don’t have a ton of motivation to rush Vasquez back, though Vasquez would likely prefer to play at least a few games before the end of the season, considering he’s in the final year of his contract.
Mar 15, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has been out since Jan. 26 with lower-back soreness, but his return looks to be imminent, as he was able to resume practicing last Thursday. With a few days to get his conditioning up to par and absorb contact, Henson could finally be ready to go, but the Bucks may not make a ruling on his status until closer to game time. Once he’s deemed to be fully healthy, Henson would likely take back most of the reserve minutes at center that have been going to Miles Plumlee for the last several games.
Mar 12, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) is hoping to return to practice as early as next week, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Vasquez worked out at the Bucks’ facility Friday afternoon and he’s determined to return to the court this season after undergoing ankle surgery in December. “I’m four weeks ahead,” Vasquez said. “I’m probably going to come back very soon, probably next week start practicing with the team.” While that timeline may be a little bit ambitious, Vasquez figures to be back practicing with the team sometime within the next two weeks, though it’s unclear how long it may be until he returns to game action. “It could be another two weeks; it could be another week,” Vasquez said. “Obviously I’m not going to come back playing 40 minutes. Some guys are playing well, too, so I’ve got to respect that.” Whenever Vasquez returns, he’ll factor into a guard rotation currently featuring Jerryd Bayless, Rashad Vaughn and Tyler Ennis. O.J. Mayo (ankle) and Michael Carter-Williams (hip) have been ruled out for the season, leaving Milwaukee shorthanded in the backcourt. With Giannis Antetokounmpo playing significantly more minutes at the point guard spot, Vasquez could be used off-the-ball more often than he was when healthy earlier this season.
Mar 10, 2016O.J. MayoOUTAnkleMayo has suffered a fracture in his right ankle and will miss the remainder of the season, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports. There is a chance that Mayo receives surgery on the fractured leg later this week, but no specifics have been released. The 28-year-old suffered the injury sometime this week and will join Steve Novak and Michael Carter-Williams on the bench, as they have all suffered season-ending injuries in the past couple of weeks. Mayo ends his season averaging 7.8 points, 2.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 27 minutes per game during 41 games. He emerged as the starting point guard midway through the season due to injuries and lackluster play from Michael Carter-Williams and Jerryd Bayless. He is in the final year of his contract with Milwaukee.
Mar 10, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) went through a full practice Thursday for the first time in more than a month, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has missed the Bucks’ last 18 games with back issues, but coach Jason Kidd indicated that if Henson doesn’t suffer any setbacks, he could return to game action sometime next week. In Henson’s absence, Miles Plumlee has taken on a much larger role alongside Greg Monroe, so it will be interesting to see how Kidd handles the minutes distribution, as the Bucks have been very reluctant to play more than one of the three simultaneously.
Mar 9, 2016O.J. MayoOut WedIllnessMayo will not play Wednesday against the Heat due to an illness.
Mar 9, 2016O.J. MayoOUTIllnessMayo will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Heat due to illness. It was announced on Wednesday evening that Mayo was ill and would miss the game. It’s unclear what exactly his illness is or how long it will effect him. He should be considered questionable for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans. Jerryd Bayless will be getting the start in Mayo’s place, and is likely in for a minutes increase while Mayo is out.
Mar 9, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) will not play Wednesday against Miami but coach Jason Kidd is hoping to have him practice Friday with the intent to return within a week, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson is set to miss his 18th consecutive game Wednesday, and he seems like a long shot for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans and Sunday’s game against the Nets as well. Assuming Friday’s practice goes well, the earliest return date for Henson is likely Tuesday against the Raptors, albeit in limited minutes.
Mar 9, 2016O.J. Mayoout for seasonLegMayo will miss the remainder of the season with a fractured leg.
Mar 7, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) will remain out Monday against the Bulls, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Despite returning to limited practice over the weekend, Henson will be missing his 17th straight game Monday while dealing with soreness in his back. His next opportunity to return will be against the Heat on Wednesday.
Mar 7, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTHipCarter-Williams (hip) will have surgery in Colorado on Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his left hip and will miss the rest of the season, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams had missed the last four games with both a knee and a hip injury, but it’s the latter ailment that will shut him down for the rest of the season. With Carter-Williams now out, the point guard position gets even thinner than it already was for the Bucks, who are still without Greivis Vasquez (ankle). In the meantime, the Bucks will continue to look to both O.J. Mayo and Jerryd Bayless to handle point guard duties for the team, with forward Giannis Antetokounmpo also continuing to emerge as a playmaking point forward for the Bucks. Carter-Williams is expected to require three months to recover from the procedure, so he should be healthy by the time training camp begins in the fall.
Mar 6, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTKneeCarter-Williams (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Thunder, Aron Yohannes of BrewHoop.com reports. In addition to his left patellar tendinitis, Carter-Williams is nursing a sore left hip, and the two injuries will conspire to keep him out for the third straight contest. Carter-Williams hasn’t practiced since first suffering the ailment prior to last Monday’s game against the Rockets, so until he’s able to work out again without any complications, we likely won’t see him back on the court.
Mar 6, 2016John HensonOUTBackCoach Jason Kidd said Henson (back) participated in some three-on-three work during Saturday’s practice, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson will sit out Sunday’s game against the Thunder, marking his 16th straight absence, but his participation in practice represents an encouraging sing. The big man will need to increase his activity a little more in the coming days before being considered close to a return.
Mar 4, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTKneeCarter-Williams (knee) is considered questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Timberwolves, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams has missed each of the last two games with tendinitis in his knee, and he could ultimately end up a game-time call, as was the case Wednesday against Indiana and Monday against Houston. The former Rookie of the Year has come off the bench and seen somewhat of a reduced role of late, as the Bucks have unleashed Giannis Antetokounmpo as their primary point guard in recent games.
Mar 4, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTKneeCarter-Williams (knee) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams has been dealing with tendinitis in his knee of late and will sit out for the third consecutive game Friday. According to Gardner, Carter-Williams has yet to return to practice as well. O.J Mayo will get another start in Friday, although he has struggled in the scoring column over his last five games, scoring in double figures just once in that span.
Mar 2, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTKneeCarter-Williams (knee) will not play in Wednesday’ game against the Pacers.Carter-Williams was originally listed as questionable leading up to Wednesday’s game after he missed Monday’s game against the Rockets and sat out of Tuesday’s practice. The Bucks didn’t struggle too much without him in Monday’s win over the Rockets, and his absence shouldn’t have too large of an impact on the minutes distribution. His next chance to return will be on Friday against the Timberwolves.
Mar 1, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTKneeCarter-Williams (knee) didn’t take part in practice Tuesday, but the Bucks are listing him as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams was scratched just before game time Monday against the Rockets due to tendinitis in his knee, and Jerryd Bayless ended up seeing a larger role in his absence. Even if Carter-Williams is available Wednesday, his impact may be limited by the fact that the Bucks have found success recently with Giannis Antetokounmpo playing on the ball, coupled with the return of Bayless from injury. Given his lack of a jump shot, Carter-Williams is a difficult fit off the ball, though he remains one of the Bucks’ better perimeter defenders thanks to his lanky 6-foot-6 frame.
Mar 1, 2016Steve NovakOUTKneeNovak (knee) indicated Tuesday that he won’t require surgery to address his sprained left MCL, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Novak, who has been ruled out for the season, will go with the rest and rehab route in order to recovery from the knee injury. He’s expected to resume working out in the summer, so concerns over the ailment shouldn’t be much of a factor in free agency for the veteran sharpshooter. Assuming Novak wants to continue his career, look for him to find a spot in training camp with an NBA team, though he may have to settle for a non-guaranteed contract.
Feb 29, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTKneeCarter-Williams was a late scratch for Monday’s game against the Rockets with patella tendinitis.Carter-Williams had previously made 50-straight appearances for the Bucks coming into Monday. It remains unclear how severe his injury is, although the next opportunity for a return will be Wednesday against the Pacers.
Feb 29, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) will remain out for Monday’s game against the Rockets, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has yet to resume practicing since suffering the back injury in late January, and will miss his 13th straight contest Monday. It doesn’t appear as though he’s particularly close to returning, so look for the Bucks to proceed with Greg Monroe and Miles Plumlee as their center combination for the time being.
Feb 29, 2016Michael Carter-WilliamsOut MonKneeCarter-Williams will sit out Monday’s game against the Rockets due to patella tendinitis.

Feb 29, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) is listed as probable for Monday’s game against the Rockets, Aron Yohannes of BrewHoop.com reports.Bayless has missed the last five games with a sprained right knee, but after returning to practice Sunday, it appears as though he’ll have a good chance to get back on the floor Monday night. Despite being one of Milwaukee’s better bench players this season, Bayless’ health and production have been too inconsistent to warrant significant fantasy interest.
Feb 28, 2016Steve NovakQues MonKneeNovak left the last game with a sprained left knee and is questionable for Monday’s game against the Rockets.
Feb 28, 2016Steve NovakOUTKneeNovak will miss the remainder of the season with a sprained left MCL, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.Novak was signed by the Bucks just six days ago and is now out for the season. It is a rough situation for the Bucks, as they really needed to add some three point shooting to their roster, something that Novak specializes in. Novak never figured to be much of a fantasy asset in standard or DFS leagues, but it is still a rough break for the veteran. It remains to be seen what will happen with Novak in the offseason.
Feb 28, 2016Steve Novakout for seasonKneeNovak suffered a sprained left MCL and will miss the remainder of the season.
Feb 27, 2016Steve NovakOUTLowerLegNovak was forced to leave Saturday night’s game against the Pistons favoring his left leg, according to C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Novak, who is considered day-to-day leading up to Monday night’s game against Houston, had four points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) in 11 minutes.
Feb 27, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) will sit out again Saturday versus the Pistons, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless with miss his fifth consecutive game Saturday against the Pistons. It is unclear how close he is to returning to action, so consider him day-to-day going forward. His next opportunity to return to action will be Monday versus the Rockets. Expect an update on his status prior to tip-off.
Feb 27, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) will remain out Saturday when the Bucks take on the Pistons, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has been out of action since Jan. 29 due to a sore back, and will not be able to return Saturday. His situation is very similar to what the Jazz faced with Derrick Favors earlier this season in terms of lingering back soreness. Favors missed one entire month, which is the same time frame Henson is at now, so he will continue to be day-to-day going forward. Expect Miles Plumlee to continue seeing the starting center role with Greg Monroe seeing a majority of the minutes off the bench. Henson’s next opportunity to return will be Monday versus the Rockets.
Feb 27, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) will return to practice Sunday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The sprained knee will cost Bayless a fifth straight game Saturday, but coach Jason Kidd said Bayless is progressing well. If all goes as planned Sunday, Bayless may have a chance to suit up Monday against Houston, but consider him questionable for the time being.
Feb 25, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Celtics, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. With Bayless’ sprained right knee still preventing him from practicing, he’s now in line to miss his fourth straight game. His absence will leave O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams as the team’s primary point guards, while Tyler Ennis assumes a third-string role.
Feb 25, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) is listed as out for Thursday’s game against the Celtics, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.A sore lower back will prevent Henson from playing in his 11th straight game. It’s unclear at this point when the big man might be able to return.
Feb 22, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Lakers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless hasn’t resumed practicing since hyperextending his right knee last Wednesday, and will miss his third straight contest as a result. His ongoing absence will enable O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams to assume the bulk of the minutes at point guard.
Feb 22, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) is listed as out for Monday’s game against the Lakers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson’s absence due to the back injury is closing in on a month, and there haven’t been many signs that he’s close to a return. Miles Plumlee has taken over Henson’s spot as the Bucks’ No. 2 center, though he’s actually moved into the starting lineup recently with coach Jason Kidd choosing to bring top center Greg Monroe off the bench.
Feb 22, 2016Steve NovakOUTCoach’s DecisionNovak officially signed with the Bucks on Monday and took part in the team’s morning shootaround, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. It’s unclear at this point whether Novak will be available Monday night against the Lakers. As expected, Novak and the Bucks officially completed paperwork and a physical Monday morning, and the 32-year-old has joined his hometown team. Despite going through Monday’s shootaround, Novak may still be held out as he adjusts to his new surroundings. Even if he’s available, it’s highly unlikely Novak plays a major role in his first game in a new uniform.
Feb 19, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless (knee) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against Charlotte and Saturday’s game against Atlanta, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.Bayless suffered a hyperextended knee in practice Wednesday and though the results of his MRI are still unknown, he will be sidelined through at least the weekend. The Bucks will likely lean on O.J Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams at point guard in Bayless’ absence.
Feb 18, 2016Jerryd BaylessQues MonKneeBayless sustained a hyper-extended knee during practice and is questionable to play Monday against the Rockets.
Feb 18, 2016Jerryd BaylessDoub FriKneeBayless sustained a hyper-extended knee during practice and is not expected to play Friday against the Hornets.
Feb 18, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTKneeBayless hyperextended his right knee during Wednesday’s practice and underwent an MRI on Thursday to reveal any possible damage, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks will await the results of Bayless’ MRI before making a ruling on his status for Friday’s game against the Hornets, but his chances of playing in that game wouldn’t seem high. If Bayless is indeed ruled out for the contest, starter O.J. Mayo and top reserve Michael Carter-Williams would likely cover all of the minutes at point guard.

Feb 17, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) was unable to practice when the Bucks returned to practice Wednesday but he did do some work on the side, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. The Bucks still have Thursday off before they return from the All-Star break Friday against the Hornets. Still, it seems unlikely Henson will return until he’s able to give it a go in practice. The Bucks play three games in four days between Friday and Monday, so expect his minutes to be limited even if he’s able to return by the weekend.
Feb 13, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) expects to be ready in three to four weeks, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports reports.Vasquez had stopped using crutches in early January and hoped to be back by the end of the month after having ankle surgery in mid-December, but it appears that he underestimated his recovery time quite a bit. This new timetable moves his return date to some time in early March.
Feb 10, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) won’t play Thursday against the Wizards, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson was unable to go through practice Wednesday as he continues to nurse a back injury, and the team will use the upcoming All-Star break to get the big man some extended rest. The 25-year-old remains without a timetable to return, but an update figures to come sometime next week when the Bucks resume practice.
Feb 8, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) didn’t practice Monday and won’t play Tuesday against the Celtics, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson will miss his sixth consecutive game due to a sore back, and Miles Plumlee will likely continue to see more minutes as the backup center in his stead. The Bucks continue to evaluate Henson on a day-to-day basis, so it’s possible he could be ready to play Thursday against the Wizards in the team’s final game before the All-Star break.
Jan 29, 2016OUTPersonalO’Bryant will not play in Friday’s matchup with the Heat due to personal reasons, Charlie Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. It is unfortunate he will not be able to participate in this game, because John Henson is out as well and he would have likely experienced a heavier workload. The Bucks next play Monday versus the Kings. Expect an update on his status when more information becomes available.
Jan 29, 2016John HensonOUTBackHenson (back) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against Miami, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Head coach Jason Kidd shared his doubts Thursday that Henson would be available for Friday’s matchup against Miami, meaning that the key reserve big man in the Bucks will have missed both games of a back-to-back set. With Johnny O’Bryant (personal) sidelined as well for Friday, look for the Bucks to lean heavily on starters Jabari Parker and Greg Monroe while Chris Copeland and Miles Plumlee could see some reserve minutes.
Jan 29, 2016O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against Miami, Milwaukee play-by-play announcer Ted Davis reports.Mayo will miss his seventh consecutive game Friday as he continues to be hampered by a nagging hamstring injury. The Bucks will continue to lean on Jerryd Bayless and Rashad Vaughn to absorb Mayo’s playing time when they take the floor Friday. Mayo will have two more days off to continue his rehab before his next chance to return on Monday against the Kings.
Jan 28, 2016O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) is being listed as out for Thursday’s game against the Grizzlies, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo has missed the Bucks’ last six games due to a sore left hamstring and doesn’t seem to have a clear timetable for a return. Since a right hamstring strain also delayed his season debut, Mayo has been limited to just 29 appearances for the Bucks, during which he’s averaged 9.1 points (on 37.4% shooting), 3.1 assists, 2.6 boards, and 1.2 steals across 27.1 minutes.
Jan 28, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) won’t be available for Thursday’s game against the Grizzlies, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Vasquez was previously optimistic that he’d be available by the end of January, but he’s already being ruled out Thursday, and it seems unlikely that he’ll be able to play in the Bucks’ final game of the month Friday against the Heat. Though Vasquez is no longer using crutches, the Bucks haven’t indicated if he’s even resumed basketball-related activities, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if his absence lingered deep into February.
Jan 28, 2016John HensonOUTBackCoach Jason Kidd is uncertain whether or not Henson (back) will be available for Friday’s game against the Heat, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has already been ruled out for Thursday’s contest against the Grizzlies in order to nurse his lower back injury, which could also keep him sidelined Friday. In his potentially extended absence, Miles Plumlee figures to see additional minutes as a backup center, with Greg Monroe taking on an increased role as well.

Greg Monroe could see extended minutes in Henson’s absence, with little-used Miles Plumlee sliding into a backup center role. Consider Henson questionable to return Friday when the Bucks play host to Miami.

Jan 19, 2016O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) will not play in Tuesday’s game against Miami, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. With Mayo set to miss a third consecutive game, Jerryd Bayless and Rashad Vaughn will handle most of the reserve minutes in Milwaukee’s backcourt. Bayless just returned from an ankle injury Saturday, putting up three points, six assists, two rebounds and a block in 22 minutes against the Hornets.
Jan 16, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) is probable for Saturday’s game against Charlotte, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless was held out of Friday’s game against Atlanta due to a sprained left ankle, but it appears likely that he’ll be available for the Bucks matchup with the Hornets. His return would be a welcome one after starting point guard Michael Carter-Williams logged 42 minutes in the Bucks’ overtime win over the Hawks. Provided that Bayless does play Saturday, Tyler Ennis’ potential playing time would likely dwindle.
Jan 16, 2016O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) did not travel with the team for Saturday’s game against Charlotte, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo will miss his second consecutive game Saturday as he continues to receive treatment on his injured hamstring. However, Jerryd Bayless is expected to play, adding some much-needed depth to the Bucks’ point guard corps.

Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo scored two points in 12 minutes before he was forced to leave the game. He played 26 minutes in a return from the same left hamstring injury on Tuesday, and it was unclear if he was going to be able to play his full load of minutes Wednesday from the get-go. The Bucks have another back-to-back Friday and Saturday, and even if he’s ready to go by Friday, chances are he won’t be at full strength for both contests.

On the second night of the back-to-back, coach Joe Prunty said he expects Mayo to be able to go, but a final call won’t come until close to the 7:00P.M. ET tip.
Jan 13, 2016O.J. MayoOut indefinitelyHamstringMayo is dealing with left hamstring soreness and will miss an undetermined amount of time.
Jan 12, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game against the Bulls.Bayless will miss his fourth straight game, as he continues to work his way back from an ankle injury. Reports have not indicated that he’s even resumed practicing yet, so we remain without a concrete timetable to return. O.J. Mayo is also questionable with a hamstring injury, so look for Michael Carter-Williams to do the majority of the ball-handling Tuesday. Bayless’ status for Wednesday’s tilt with the Wizards is up in the air as well at this point in time.
Jan 10, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) will be unavailable for Sunday’s game against the Knicks, Ted Davis of The Big 920 AM reports. It will mark Bayless’ third straight absence due to the ankle injury. It hasn’t been reported that Bayless has resumed practicing since suffering the ailment in last Monday’s loss to the Spurs, and until that happens, it will be difficult to bank on him returning to the floor in the immediate future.
Jan 10, 2016O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo is dealing with a left hamstring injury and will not play in Sunday’s game against the Knicks, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo tweaked the hamstring during Friday’s game against the Mavericks and he went on to say that during the fourth quarter, he could barely move. He’ll have to sit out on Sunday and should also be considered questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Bulls. With Mayo on the sideline, Rashad Vaughn could see a bump in minutes as the backup to Khris Middleton at shooting guard.
Jan 8, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) is listed as out for Friday’s game against the Mavericks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks haven’t provided many updates regarding the extent of the left ankle sprain that Bayless suffered in Monday’s loss to the Spurs, but it appears he could potentially be in store for another multi-week absence after he sustained a sprain of the same ankle back in early December and missed 11 games. Until Bayless is back on the court for practice, he shouldn’t be viewed as close to returning.
Jan 8, 2016Miles PlumleeOUTKneePlumlee was a late scratch Friday versus the Mavericks with a sore knee.Plumlee was not questionable heading into the contest, so his late scratch came as a surprise. He did not play in the teams previous game due to a coaches decision also. His next opportunity to return to action will be Sunday versus the Knicks.
Jan 5, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) has been ruled out of Tuesday’s matchup with the Bulls, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.Bayless just can’t stay healthy and he’ll sit out again Tuesday, after leaving Monday’s game against the Spurs with a left ankle sprain. It remains unclear how severe it actually is, but it is concerning considering it’s the same injury that costed him 11 games earlier this season. For now, he’ll also be considered highly questionable for Friday’s tilt with the Mavericks. With Bayless sidelined, Michael Carter-Williams should be in the starting lineup, while O.J. Mayo, Rashad Vaughn and Tyler Ennis could all see some extra minutes in the backcourt.
Jan 4, 2016Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless re-injured his left ankle and will not return to Monday’s matchup with the Spurs, Charlie Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. This is rough news for Bayless, who had missed the previous 19 games with a left ankle injury. He exited the game in the second quarter, after providing three points in seven minutes. It is unclear if the Bucks are being overly cautious because he is just returning from the injury, or if he significantly hurt it gain. Expect an update on his status when more information becomes available.
Jan 4, 2016Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) is no longer on crutches and is aiming for a return by the end of January, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports.Vasquez was expected to miss three-to-four months when he underwent surgery in mid-December on his right ankle, so this updated timeline for his return is certainly surprising. However, he’ll likely be limited upon return to the court and should still split time at point guard with Michael Carter-Williams and Jerryd Bayless.
Jan 3, 2016Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTTeethAntetokounmpo chipped his tooth during Saturday’s game, which forced him to miss practice Sunday, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Antetokounmpo had a dentist appointment Sunday in order to address the issue, and the Bucks are hoping it shouldn’t cost Antetokounmpo any time. It seems likely he’ll be available come Monday’s matchup with the Spurs, but for now he should be considered questionable.
Dec 28, 2015John HensonOUTElbowHenson (elbow) will suit up Monday but is not expected to play, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson is presumably available in an emergency, but the Bucks will look to avoid playing him Monday night. Henson’s absence should open up more playing time for Johnny O’Bryant, and it could allow Miles Plumlee to play a bigger role as well.
Dec 28, 2015OUTAnkleInglis is dealing with a sore right ankle and did not travel on the Bucks’ road trip, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks will not play at home agin until Jan. 4, so it’s likely that Inglis will be out at least until then, unless he shows significant improvement in the coming days. He was not seeing regular minutes, so his absence is not likely to have much of an effect on the Bucks’ rotation.
Dec 28, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) completed morning shootaround and is considered a game-time decision for Monday’s tilt with the Mavericks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Interim coach Joe Prunty was satisfied with how Bayless performed during shootaround, but the team will wait and see how the guard progresses before determining if he’ll be able to play later in the evening. Bayless has missed the last 11 games with the ankle injury and would likely see limited minutes if he’s ultimately cleared to play Monday.
Dec 28, 2015John HensonOUTElbowHenson (elbow/back) took part in morning shootaround, but is still questionable for Monday’s game against the Mavericks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson fell on his back and right elbow during Saturday’s game against the Raptors and is still feeling banged up, as he was spotted icing his elbow after shootaround. The Bucks will wait and see how the big man progresses over the afternoon before reaching a determination on his availability for the game.
Dec 27, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) practiced in full Sunday and is traveling with the team to Dallas, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless is working his way back from an ankle injury and looks to be getting close to a return. He practiced in full on Sunday and is traveling with the team on their current road-trip. Consider Bayless quesionable for Monday, although we should see his status updated following Monday morning’s shootaround.
Dec 27, 2015John HensonOUTBackHenson is dealing with a back injury and did not practice on Sunday, C.F. Garnder of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. This is the first we’ve heard of the injury, so it’s likely nothing too serious, but it still puts Henson’s status for Monday’s game against the Mavericks into question. If he’s forced to sit, Miles Plumlee and Johnny O’Bryant could see an uptick in minutes while backing up Greg Monroe. We should see his status updated after Monday morning’s shootaround, but for now, he should be considered questionable.
Dec 22, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTKneeAntetokounmpo (knee) is listed as probable for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. After being held out of Sunday’s win over the Suns due to tendinitis in his left knee, Antetokounmpo completed Tuesday’s practice without incident and looks on track to return. Expect the third-year pro to return to his place in the Bucks’ starting five Wednesday and approach his season average of 33.6 minutes per game.
Dec 22, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. An ankle injury kept Bayless on the sidelines for the entirety of the Bucks’ recent West Coast road swing, and Gardner is reporting that his absence will continue Wednesday when the Bucks return to the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Given that Greivis Vasquez (ankle) is also sidelined, the Bucks will continue to lean heavily on the combination of Michael Carter-Williams and O.J. Mayo to man the point.

If he doesn’t end up playing, O.J. Mayo is expected to move into the starting lineup in his place. We’ll have to wait for an update on his status till closer to the game, but for now he’s considered questionable.
Dec 20, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTKneeAntetokounmpo (knee) has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Suns, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Antetokounmpo is dealing with tendinitis in his left knee and will get the night off for recovery. The injury shouldn’t cost him an extensive amount of time, but consider him questionable for Wednesday’s outing with the 76ers as well. O.J. Mayo will move into the starting lineup in his place.
Dec 18, 2015Greg MonroeOUTKneeMonroe (knee) participated in portions of Friday’s shootaround, Diamond Leung of Bay Area News Group reports.Monroe is expected to miss 7-to-10 days, so it’s very encouraging to see that he’s already participating in portions of the Bucks’ shootaround. If all goes well, he’ll miss just the next game or two, which should give Monroe the opportunity to return for a matchup with the 76ers on Dec. 23. Considering he’s already participating in portions of shootaround, he could be cleared even sooner. Until he moves back into the lineup, look for John Henson and Miles Plumlee to soak up the extra minutes at center.
Dec 18, 2015Greg MonroeOUTKneeMonroe (knee) will go through pregame workouts, and is officially a game-time decision Friday, Monte Poole of CSNBayArea.com reports. This is somewhat surprising news, as Monroe was expected to miss at least a few more games. He has missed the Bucks previous two contests, and is probably on the more unlikely to play side of questionable, but this is still encouraging news. Expect an update prior to tip-off.
Dec 17, 2015Greg MonroeOUTKneeMonroe (knee) is expected to miss 7-to-10 days, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Monroe was a late scratch from Tuesday’s loss to the Lakers, and he also sat out Wednesday’s defeat at the hands of the Clippers due to a Grade 1 left MCL sprain. Both Monroe and the Bucks have downplayed the ailment, and while the team has not issued a timetable, Monroe is expected to miss around a week. Considering the injury occurred Tuesday morning, he figures to remain out Friday against Golden State, as well as Sunday against Phoenix, with the possibility that he could be back for a matchup with the 76ers on Dec. 23. In Monroe’s absence, John Henson will continue to start at center, with Miles Plumlee serving as the backup.
Dec 16, 2015Greg MonroeOUTKneeMonroe (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Clippers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Monroe was a late scratch prior to Tuesday’s loss to the Lakers after banging knees with a teammate during practice. An MRI on Wednesday revealed a Grade 1 left MCL sprain for the center, and while it’s not expected to cost Monroe significant time, he could miss a game or two beyond Wednesday night. John Henson figures to make another start at center against the Clippers, with Miles Plumlee serving as the backup. Monroe’s next chance to take the court will come Friday in Oakland against Golden State before the Bucks finish out their four-game road swing Sunday in Phoenix.
Dec 15, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) underwent successful surgery to remove a bone spur in his foot on Tuesday and is expected to miss roughly 3-to-4 months, Mike Trudell of Lakers.com reports.Vasquez hadn’t played since Nov. 27 and after weighing his options, decided to have surgery on his ankle. Coach Jason Kidd said it will keep him out between three or four months, which means he could be out for the rest of the regular season. With Jerryd Bayless (ankle) also sidelined, Michael Carter-Williams and O.J. Mayo should take the majority of the minutes at point guard, while Tyler Ennis may see a bump in minutes as well.
Dec 15, 2015Greg MonroeOUTKneeMonroe is a late scratch Tuesday against the Lakers with a sore left knee, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Charles Gardner reports. This news came about a half hour prior to tipoff, so many owners in daily leagues were likely left with precious few options. John Henson and Johnny O’Bryant figure to see extra run in place of Monroe.
Dec 15, 2015Greg MonroeOut TuesKneeMonroe will not play against the Lakers on Tuesday due to a sore left knee.

It sounds like it could just be a contusion, but owners will want to check back prior to Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.

Dec 14, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) won’t travel with the Bucks on their four-game road swing that begins Tuesday in Los Angeles, Andrew Gruman reports. Both Vasquez and Jerryd Bayless will remain in Milwaukee while the team heads West for four games against the Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, and Suns. As such, the earliest Vasquez could be back on the court is Dec. 23, when the Bucks return home to face the 76ers. In the meantime, Milwaukee will continue to roll with O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams absorbing the vast majority of minutes at point guard.
Dec 14, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) has been ruled out for the Bucks’ four-game road trip, which begins Tuesday in Los Angeles, Andrew Gruman reports.Bayless continues to nurse an ankle injury, and while the team hasn’t revealed many details, it appears to be fairly serious. He’s already missed the last five games, and assuming he doesn’t rejoin the team at any point during the trip, the earliest he could return is next Wednesday (Dec. 23), when Milwaukee hosts Philadelphia. Greivis Vasquez (ankle) has also been ruled out for the trip, so O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams will continue to see most of the minutes at point guard.
Dec 9, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Clippers. This will be the sixth straight game Vasquez has missed due to sore right ankle. Earlier in the week head coach Jason Kidd said he’s hopeful that Vasquez would resume running sometime this week. The Bucks are wearing thin at point guard, with Jerryd Bayless (ankle) also out. Look for O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams to pick up the slack Wednesday night.
Dec 9, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.Bayless will miss his third consecutive game due to a sore left ankle. A timetable hasn’t been released for his return. O.J. Mayo will likely continue to start in his place, with Michael Carter-Williams seeing more minutes off the bench. The next opportunity Bayless has to play will come Friday in Toronto.
Dec 7, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless (ankle) will miss Monday’s game versus Portland, Charlie Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless sprained his ankle Dec. 4, and will now miss his second consecutive contest due to the injury. There is no current timetable for his return, which does not bode well for the Bucks next game Wednesday against the Clippers. Expect an update on his status prior to Wednesday’s tip-off, however.
Dec 6, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleCoach Jason Kidd said prior to Saturday’s win over the Knicks that Bayless is dealing with a sore left ankle and is without a timetable for a return, Aron Yohannes of BrewHoop.com reports.Since he’s not being labeled as day-to-day with the injury, it seems quite possible that Bayless, who sat out Saturday’s win over the Knicks and was spotted with crutches and a walking boot on his foot prior to the game, could be in line for a multi-game absence. It’s certainly not an ideal development with Greivis Vasquez (ankle) and Tyler Ennis (shoulder) also sidelined, though Vasquez could be in line to return at some point this week. The Bucks’ depleted backcourt depth leaves Michael Carter-Williams as the team’s only true point guard, though Kidd chose to deploy O.J. Mayo, a career two-guard, at the point to successful results Saturday. While Bayless remains sidelined, Mayo and Carter-Williams should continue to see ample minutes.
Dec 6, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleCoach Jason Kidd said he’s hopeful that Vasquez (ankle) will resume running within the next few days, Aron Yohannes of BrewHoop.com reports.Vasquez has missed the Bucks’ last five games with the injury, and while this latest report offers some encouragement, it doesn’t appear as though the point guard will be ready to play Monday against the Trail Blazers. The Bucks will see how Vasquez progresses in workouts during the week before determining when he might be back.

Dec 4, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless exited Friday’s game in Detroit with a sprained ankle and will not return, Charlie Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless rolled his left ankle while trying to defend a pass. He looked to be in considerable pain before hopping to the locker room. Milwaukee’s backcourt is already considerably shallow with Tyler Ennis and Greivis Vasquez out due to injuries. Barring a quick return to health, Bayless’ status for Saturday’s game does not look good. Michael Carter-Williams should see heavily increased playing time in the short term due to Milwaukee’s backcourt injuries. Expect an update when more information becomes available.
Dec 4, 2015Jerryd BaylessOUTAnkleBayless will return to the starting lineup Friday in Detroit, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Bayless was dressed and active for Wednesday’s game in San Antonio, but he did not start and ended up a DNP-CD. When asked for an explanation, coach Jason Kidd dodged the question, saying only that he “just didn’t want to him.” It sounds as though it may have been a disciplinary move, but expect Bayless to back in his usual role Friday, with Michael Carter-Williams still coming off the bench.
Dec 4, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) will not play Saturday versus New York, Aron Yohannes of Brewhoop.com reports. This will be the fifth consecutive game missed for Vasquez. Milwaukee is very shallow in the backcourt right now, so if he was good to play he probably would be active. His next opportunity to play will be Monday versus Portland.

Head coach Jason Kidd did not say who would start Saturday in Bayless’ absence, but fellow point guards Greivis Vasquez (ankle) and Tyler Ennis (shoulder) will also sit out, so Michael Carter-Williams seems like the top option.

Dec 2, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) is out against the Spurs on Wednesday, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. This will be the third game in a row that Vasquez will have to sit out due to the ankle, forcing Jason Kidd to rely more on Michael Carter-Williams and Tyler Ennis behind starter Jerryd Bayless again. Vasquez’s next opportunity to return will come Friday against the Pistons.
Nov 30, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez (ankle) won’t take the court Monday against the Nuggets, Aron Yohannes of BrewHoop.com reports.Absent for a second game in a row due to a sore right ankle, the Bucks’ point guard depth will be hindered, with Michael Carter-Williams and Tyler Ennis providing support for Jerryd Bayless. Nov 29, 2015Greivis VasquezOUTAnkleVasquez is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Hornets due to a sore right ankle, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. There wasn’t any report after Friday’s game against the Magic that Vasquez was dealing with any sort of injury, but it certainly seems like that could have played a factor in the point guard seeing only 13 minutes in the contest, almost 10 minutes below his season average. In addition to having Vasquez unavailable as a point guard option, coach Jason Kidd will swap out struggling starter Michael Carter-Williams for Jerryd Bayless, while Tyler Ennis assumes third-string duties at the position. Vasquez could enter the conversation for the starting role if he’s cleared to play Monday against the Nuggets.

Nov 18, 2015OUTFootParker (foot) has full intentions of playing against the Cavaliers on Thursday night, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports.Parker was diagnosed with a left mid-foot sprain on Monday and was initially believed to be out through Saturday. However the discomfort and swelling caused by the injury must have decreased enough to a point where Parker now feels comfortable enough to play. This is great news for the Bucks, as they look to go up 2-0 against the Cavaliers this season. If it turns out Parker isn’t able to go, John Henson and Johnny O’Bryant could see more minutes.
Nov 18, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) is expected to make his season debut Thursday in Cleveland, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio reports.Mayo is yet to play this season due a hamstring issue that’s lingered from the preseason, but he’s been accelerating his activity level of late, and the expectation is that he’ll be available off the bench Thursday. Both Greivis Vasquez an Jerryd Bayless have seen big minutes off the bench behind Michael Carter-Williams, who’s missed a few games due to injury, and it’s unclear exactly where Mayo immediately fits in.
Nov 17, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) is out Tuesday against the Wizards, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal reports.Although Mayo was listed as probable to play Tuesday, he was sent home Monday to see a doctor and hopefully will rejoin the team in Cleveland. The shooting guard has been suffering from a hamstring injury and has missed the Bucks’ first 10 games of the season, but if he returns and proves to be healthy, his minutes will increase and Tyler Ennis, Rashad Vaughn, and Chris Copeland will see decreased minutes in result.
Nov 17, 2015OUTFootParker (foot) may be able to return for Thursday’s game in Cleveland, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports.Originally expected to miss the Bucks’ impending three-game road trip due to a mid-foot sprain, Parker could only miss one contest if the discomfort and swelling in the region decrease enough in the coming days. Expect the Bucks to clarify his status in advance of Thursday’s outing, but if he fulfills the original expected absence, he won’t return until Monday’s tilt against the Pistons.
Nov 17, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) is listed as probable for Tuesday’s game against the Wizards, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports.Mayo has missed the Bucks’ first 10 games this season due to the hamstring strain, but after apparently increasing his activities in practices the last few days, it looks like he may be ready to make his debut. It was thought that he would initially open the season in a starting role due to the early absence of Jabari Parker, and although Parker has been recently sidelined again by to a mid-foot sprain, it’s likely that Mayo will now come off the bench in light of the extensive time he’s missed. Still, if Mayo proves healthy in his return to action, his minutes could increase steadily and may result in the likes of Tyler Ennis, Rashad Vaughn, and Chris Copeland losing their spots in the rotation.
Nov 16, 2015OUTFootParker will be out at least three games with a mid-foot sprain, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports. This obviously is not good news for Parker who was trying to work his way back into game shape from an ACL injury sustained last season. He did not travel with the team on their three game road trip, which would indicate his earliest return date would be Nov. 23 versus Detroit. He had played in five of ten games for Milwaukee this season, including 30 minutes of action on Saturday versus Cleveland. He’s currently averaging 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.4 steals in 22 minutes per game.
Nov 16, 2015Jabari ParkerProb ThursFootParker is dealing with a right foot injury but is expected to play against the Cavaliers on Thursday.
Nov 13, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams (ankle) practiced Friday and is listed as probable for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. After missing the last five games, it looks as if the Bucks’ starting point guard will be back in action Saturday. Tyler Ennis has gotten the start in Carter-Williams’s absence, but Greivis Vasquez and Jerryd Bayless have taken on a majority of the minutes in the backcourt. It’s unknown whether Carter-Williams will be limited in any way in his return, but both Bayless and Vasquez have shown the Bucks have solid depth at point guard moving forward.
Nov 11, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) is out again Wednesday versus the Nuggets, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo didn’t travel with the team to Denver so this is expected. It remains to be seen if he’ll be ready to make his season debut Saturday versus Cleveland.
Nov 11, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams (ankle) is out again Wednesday in Denver, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. This is Carter-Williams fifth consecutive game missed since injuring his ankle at the end of the Bucks contest versus Brooklyn a week ago. Tyler Ennis will get the start again in place of Carter-Williams. Head coach Jason Kidd he’s on pace to reach his target return date Saturday versus Cleveland.
Nov 11, 2015OUTRestParker (rest) will not play Wednesday against the Nuggets, as he didn’t travel with the team to Denver, the Milwaukee Journal reports.Parker will not play in the second night of the Bucks back-to-back game days, after playing in Tuesday’s game against the Celtics. In his 24 minutes on Tuesday, Parker scored eight points on 4-of-6 shot attempts, along with eight rebounds, one assist, and two blocks. Chris Copeland and John Henson will likely replace his minutes during the Bucks’ Wednesday night game. Parker not playing is consistent with Bucks’ head coach Jason Kidd’s reluctance to play Parker in back-to-back contests as he recovers to full health.
Nov 10, 2015OUTRestParker probably won’t play in Wednesday’s game, which is the second night of a back-to-back, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Charles Gardner reports. He logged 24 minutes Tuesday, scoring eight points on 4-of-6 shooting with eight rebounds, one assist, and two blocks. Assuming he does not play Wednesday, Damien Inglis and Chris Copeland should see slightly increased run on the wing.
Nov 9, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams (ankle) remained limited at practice Monday, and he’ll sit out Tuesday’s game against the Celtics, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams injured his ankle a week ago in a game against the Nets, and he’s been held out of the last three contests. He’ll sit for a fourth game Tuesday, meaning Tyler Ennis could get another starting nod at point guard, while Greivis Vasquez and Jerryd Bayless should each see heavier workloads off the bench.
Nov 9, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) was limited at practice Monday, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo did some individual drills off to the side Monday, but he’s yet to be cleared to take part in full-contact sessions with the rest of the team. As such, he’ll miss another game Tuesday when the Bucks take on the Celtics.
Nov 6, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams (ankle) is out Friday against the Knicks, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports. The guard is dealing with an an ankle injury that he sustained late in Monday’s game against Brooklyn. In a surprising move, the Bucks will start Tyler Ennis at point guard in Carter-Williams’ place, but both Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez should see larger roles off the bench.
Nov 5, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams (ankle) will travel with the Bucks to New York, but is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Knicks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams appears set to miss his second straight contest due to the left ankle sprain, which kept him out of Wednesday’s victory over the Sixers, his former team. Should Carter-Williams miss Friday’s contest as expected, look for Jerryd Bayless to make another start at point guard, with Greivis Vasquez picking up ample playing time off the bench.
Nov 5, 2015John HensonOUTAchillesHenson (Achilles) is traveling with the Bucks to New York, but is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Knicks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks have been experiencing some injury trouble as of late, with Henson, O.J. Mayo (hamstring) and Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) all bitten by the injury bug. Henson looks set to miss his fifth straight game, but seems to be trending in the right direction with his recovery. According to Gardner, Henson was able to go through light drills Thursday, suggesting a return might not be far away.
Nov 5, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Knicks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo has yet to suit up this season, with his right hamstring strain set to keep him grounded for a sixth straight game. Though Mayo looked to be the starter at shooting guard out of the gate before suffering the injury, the Bucks have since returned Jabari Parker (knee) to the lineup to fill out their starting five, leaving a bench role waiting for Mayo when he returns.
Nov 4, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s matchup with the 76ers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams is dealing with what the team is calling an “ankle strain,” an injury he sustained late in Monday’s victory over Brooklyn. He’ll join O.J. Mayo (hamstring) and John Henson (Achilles) on the sideline Wednesday, though Tyler Ennis (shoulder) and Jabari Parker (knee) will both be active for the first time this season. Coach Jason Kidd has yet to announce who will start in place of Carter-Williams on Wednesday, but Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez would appear to be the two most obvious choices.
Nov 4, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams (ankle) is considered doubtful for Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia, Frank Madden of Brew Hoop reports.Carter-Williams’ official injury designation is a strained left ankle which he suffered Monday after slipping on the court. Jerryd Bayless will likely make the start in place of Carter-Williams on Wednesday if he’s deemed unfit, with his next opportunity for a return coming against the Knicks on Friday.
Nov 4, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) won’t play in Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.Mayo has yet to make his season debut for the Bucks, as the right hamstring strain will knock him out of a fifth straight game. The shooting guard looked to on track to open the season in a starting role, but with Jabari Parker (knee) set to make his debut Wednesday, Mayo will likely be forced to settle for a bench role once he’s healthy enough to play.
Nov 4, 2015John HensonOUTAchillesHenson (Achilles) is sitting out Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.The Bucks will likely be down three players, as O.J. Mayo (hamstring) has also been ruled out and Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) is considered doubtful to play. Henson is missing his fourth game in a row due to the sore left Achilles’ tendon, and until he makes his return to practice, it’s difficult to count on him returning to action in short order. His ongoing absence will allow Johnny O’Bryant, Chris Copeland, and Miles Plumlee to remain factors in Milwaukee’s rotation.
Nov 2, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis (shoulder) has been cleared to participate in games, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports. The news will be overshadowed by teammate Jabari Parker (knee) also being cleared Monday, but Ennis will now be available as a third or fourth point guard off the bench for Jason Kidd. The Syracuse product saw very limited minutes last season, and that figures to again be the case, even in what has proven to be a very deep Milwaukee rotation.
Nov 2, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) has been cleared to return for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Parker has not played since tearing his ACL last December, but after nearly 11 months of rehab, he’s finally been given clearance by team doctors. The No. 2 pick in the 2014 draft has been practicing with the team since the start of training camp, but he was held out for the entire preseason and has not played in any of the Bucks’ first three games. Parker will be active for Monday’s game against the Nets, but he isn’t expected to enter the game. It’s unclear whether Parker will immediately be a part of the starting lineup, but he’s expected to be Milwaukee’s starting power forward once he’s fully reintegrated.
Nov 2, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) will not play Monday against the Nets, Tim Bontemps of the New York Post reports.Mayo will miss his fourth straight game to open the season as he continues to work back from a hamstring issue. The team hasn’t said much about the ailment, so continue to consider Mayo day-to-day until Milwaukee says otherwise. John Henson (Achilles) will also miss Monday’s game, so the 0-3 Bucks will be rather shorthanded.
Nov 2, 2015John HensonOUTAchillesHenson (Achilles) has been ruled out for Monday’s matchup with the Nets, Tim Bontemps of the New York Post reports.Henson injured his Achilles on Opening Night against the Knicks and was held out of Friday’s game against the Wizards, as well as Sunday’s matchup with Toronto. The Bucks are listing Henson as day-to-day, and he should be considered questionable in advance of Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
Nov 2, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) will be restricted to 15-to-20 minutes in his return to the court Wednesday versus the Sixers, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Cleared to return to action Monday, Parker will soon make his first appearance since tearing the ACL in his left knee last December. Coach Jason Kidd relayed that Parker has been working with the first unit for the past week, so the sophomore forward won’t immediately be thrown into the fire. Once healthy, Parker should assume the starting spot at the four.
Nov 2, 2015John HensonOUTAchillesHenson (Achilles) sat out Sunday’s game against the Raptors and remains day-to-day moving forward.Henson is dealing with soreness in his Achilles, so this figures to be a minor injury that won’t keep him out for too long. He could return as soon as Monday, when the Bucks face the Nets.
Nov 2, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams was seen icing his left ankle following Monday’s victory over the Nets, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Carter-Williams slipped on the floor late in Monday’s game and limped to the bench afterward, causing concern about his health. However, he said following the contest he would be fine, according to Fred Katz of FOX Sports. It would appear Carter-Williams’ setback is minor, but the extent of his injury is not yet certain, so expect another update on his status prior to the Bucks’ next game Wednesday against the 76ers.
Nov 2, 2015Michael Carter-WilliamsOUTAnkleCarter-Williams scored a season-low six points and added five assists, three steals and two blocks in 23 minutes during Monday’s 103-96 win over the Nets.MCW moved aside and let his teammates do most of the scoring Monday against a miserable Nets defense. He appeared to injure his ankle late in the fourth quarter, but said he was fine during post-game. Despite Carter-Williams’ words, the injury is probably something worth watching. Both Jerryd Bayless (47) and Greivis Vasquez (27) played more minutes than MCW.
Oct 30, 2015John HensonOUTAchillesHenson (Achilles) will not play in Friday’s game against the Wizards.Unfortunately for fantasy owners who started Henson on Friday news about his deactivation did not come out until after tip-off, but either way, he will not take the court Friday night. Henson is apparently just dealing with soreness in his Achilles, so he should have a chance to return to action for the Bucks’ next game Sunday against the Raptors.
Oct 29, 2015John HensonOUTAchillesHenson (sore left Achilles) did not practice Thursday, and will be re-evaluated at Friday’s shootaround for the Bucks’ game against the Wizards, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson’s production was solid during the preseason, and he is a valuable asset to Milwaukee’s frontcourt. Should Henson miss Friday’s game, look for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greg Monroe, Chris Copeland, Johnny O’Bryant, and Miles Plumlee to fill Henson’s minutes in some fashion.
Oct 29, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringCoach Jason Kidd said that Mayo (hamstring) did not practice Thursday and is out for Friday’s game against the Wizards, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo’s hamstring injury continues to be an issue, and his absence will leave the Bucks shorthanded at the wing, though they will return Giannis Antetokounmpo from suspension. With Mayo still out, look for Jerryd Bayless, Greivis Vasquez, and Rashad Vaughn to pick up minutes at the wing in his stead.
Oct 28, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTSuspensionAntetokounmpo (suspension) will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Knicks. It’s just a reminder for those in daily formats to avoid Antetokounmpo, as he’ll be serving a one-game ban for his flagrant foul on the Bulls’ Mike Dunleavy during the Bucks’ first-round playoff series loss last spring. The Bucks will be a little thin at forward with Jabari Parker (knee) and O.J. Mayo (hamstring) joining Antetokounmpo on the bench. Jerryd Bayless, Chris Copeland, and John Henson should all pick up heavier playing time loads with those players sidelined.
Oct 28, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis (shoulder) has been cleared for contact drills, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Ennis is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, and he’s been working in one-on-one drills during recent practices. Even when healthy, however, Ennis is not much of a fantasy consideration and could rack up plenty of DNP-CDs provided the Bucks’ backcourt stays healthy.
Oct 28, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) will not be available for Wednesday’s season opener against the Knicks, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.Though he received positive reports during the practices he participated in during training camp, Parker continues to be brought along slowly in his recovery from a torn left ACL. The Bucks have released no timetable for his return yet, making it unwise to speculate when he might be able to make his season debut.
Oct 27, 2015OUTShoulderVaughn missed Monday’s practice with a sore right shoulder, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The issue doesn’t sound particularly severe, so if Vaughn can get back on the practice court Tuesday, he should still be available as a bench option for Wednesday’s season opener against the Knicks.
Oct 27, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) will not play in Wednesday’s season opener against the Knicks, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo is dealing with an undisclosed hamstring issue, and his absence means the Bucks will be rather shorthanded on the wing, as Jabari Parker (knee) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (suspension) will also sit out Wednesday. With Mayo out, Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez should see larger roles off the bench, as could rookie Rashad Vaughn, who impressed during the preseason.
Oct 26, 2015O.J. MayoProb ThursHamstringMayo has been out with a hamstring injury but is expected to make his season debut Thursday against the Cavaliers.
Oct 26, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo is questionable for Wednesday’s season opener due to a hamstring injury, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The extent of Mayo’s setback is uncertain, but it prevented him from practicing Monday, and could keep him off the floor for the first game of the new campaign. The Bucks will confirm his availability for Opening Night at some point in the next couple days.
Oct 24, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTSuspensionAntetokounmpo turned in his best all-around performance of the preseason Friday against the Timberwolves, finishing with 23 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven boards, three blocks, and two steals over 33 minutes.Bucks coach Jason Kidd appeared to treat Friday’s contest as a regular-season dress rehearsal, as Antetokounmpo was omitted from the starting lineup, which will be the case when he serves a one-game suspension during Wednesday’s opener versus the Knicks. Kidd deployed Chris Copeland as his starting power forward as a result, but Antetokounmpo still saw his usual allotment of minutes, and seemed to make the most of them. The lengthy, versatile 20-year-old is expected to see time at every position on the court this season, but his primary duties should fall at either forward spot.
Oct 22, 2015OUTIllnessInglis is still dealing with flu-like symptoms and won’t take part in Friday’s preseason game against the Timberwolves, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Inglis was able to do some light work at Milwaukee’s training facility Thursday but his status for the season opener against the Knicks on Wednesday is still up in the air. Although, he’s buried on the depth chart and won’t necessarily dress out in the regular season even when he returns to health.
Oct 22, 2015Miles PlumleeOUTKneePlumlee managed to take part in portions of Thursday’s practice but still remains questionable for the preseason game against Minnesota on Friday, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Plumlee has been limited throughout the preseason with right knee soreness but he’s turning a corner just in time for the regular season opener against the Knicks on Wednesday. Although, even when fully healthy, he’ll have a hard time seeing more minutes than Greg Monroe or John Henson.
Oct 21, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTSuspensionAntetokounmpo (suspension) could see most of his time at power forward early in the season if Jabari Parker (knee) is unable to play, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Antetokounmpo started at the four spot in Tuesday’s exhibition against the Timberwolves, with Michael Carter-Williams, O.J. Mayo, Khris Middleton, and Greg Monroe filling out the rest of the lineup. Once Parker returns, Mayo would likely head back to a bench role, allowing Antetokounmpo to settle in at either the shooting guard or small forward spot. Regardless of where he plays, Antetokounmpo’s considerable length and speed and increasing bulk should make him a cornerstone of the Bucks’ offensive and defensive efforts, so don’t expect any noticeable downgrade or upgrade in his fantasy value as a result. Antetokounmpo will be suspended for the first game of the regular season, but is slated to make his debut Oct. 30 against the Wizards.
Oct 20, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) remains without a definitive return date to the Bucks lineup, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Parker hasn’t endured any setbacks while practicing with the Bucks throughout training camp, but given how integral the 6-foot-8 forward is to the team’s long-term plan, coach Jason Kidd and his staff have been exercising extreme caution. It’s not clear if Parker will suit up in the Bucks’ final two preseason contests, nor has it been determined if he’ll be ready to go for the Oct. 28 regular-season opener against the Knicks while he continues to work his way back from an ACL tear. Kidd maintains that the team is taking things day by day with Parker, and that figures to remain the case once the regular season gets underway. Even after Parker makes his season debut, there’s a good chance the Bucks will hold him to some sort of minutes restriction or rest him during portions of back-to-back sets.
Oct 17, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTSuspensionAntetokounmpo (illness) will start Saturday’s preseason game, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel’s Charles Gardner reports. He was out with an illness on Friday, but it sounds like it was a minor ailment. Antetokounmpo should be ready for the regular season, although he is suspended for the first game of the season.
Oct 16, 2015Miles PlumleeOUTKneePlumlee (knee) remained sidelined Friday and will not play in Saturday’s matchup with the Wizards, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Plumlee will miss his second consecutive game now, as he’s been dealing with knee soreness for the past week. We’ll have to wait and see if he practices Sunday or Monday before determining his availability for Tuesday’s preseason game, but consider him questionable for that matchup at this point in time. With two weeks left until the regular season, Plumlee still has plenty of time to get healthy.
Oct 16, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTSuspensionAntetokounmpo sat out of practice with an illness Friday and is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Wizards, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. It looks like a flu bug may have hit the Bucks, as both Antetokounmpo and Damien Inglis had to sit out Friday. While Inglis has been ruled out for Saturday, Antetokounmpo still may play, so consider him questionable at this point in time. If he doesn’t play Saturday, his next opportunity to return will be Tuesday against the Timberwolves.
Oct 16, 2015OUTIllnessInglis sat out of practice Friday with an illness and won’t play in Saturday’s preseason matchup with the Wizards, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Inglis is dealing with an illness and will get a couple days off for rest. He’ll sit out Saturday and should be considered questionable for Tuesday’s tilt with the Timberwolves.
Oct 13, 2015Chris CopelandOUTPersonalCopeland (personal) will not play in Tuesday’s preseason game against the Cavaliers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Copeland will miss his third straight game while he remains away from the team to attend to a family situation. It’s not clear if the personal matter will keep Copeland unavailable for the start of the season, but even if he returns before camp concludes, he may have a difficult time cracking coach Jason Kidd’s rotation right away.
Oct 13, 2015Miles PlumleeOUTKneePlumlee (knee) will miss Tuesday’s preseason game against the Cavaliers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks are labeling Plumlee as day-to-day with right knee soreness after he needed assistance off the court in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s preseason game against the Pistons. His absence Tuesday will pave the way for Josh Powell and Johnny O’Bryant to pick up more minutes down low.
Oct 13, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis (shoulder) is yet to be cleared for full contact, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Ennis continues to work back from offseason shoulder surgery and has been cleared for “controlled contact,” but he’s not yet able to go full speed. With the regular season just over two weeks away, he’ll likely be in street clothes to start the season, but projects to return to the fold sometime in early-to-mid November. The second-year guard out of Syracuse will compete for minutes as a reserve point guard and may end up as Milwaukee’s 13th or 14th man after an uninspiring rookie campaign.
Oct 13, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTSuspensionAntetokounmpo (rest) will not play Tuesday against the Cavaliers, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks will hold Antetokounmpo out, while the Cavaliers will do the same with LeBron James. Jason Kidd has already announced that second-year forward Damien Inglis, who missed all of last season due to injury, will get the starting nod in Antetokounmpo’s place.
Oct 12, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) will not play in Tuesday’s preseason game against the Cavaliers, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Parker continues to practice at full speed without limitations, but he’s yet to be deployed in the preseason, as the Bucks keep up their cautious approach with the 2014 No. 2 overall pick. Milwaukee is yet to state whether Parker will be ready to open the regular season, and a decision may not come until closer to the end of the month.
Oct 10, 2015Miles PlumleeOUTLegPlumlee was helped off the court in Saturday night’s preseason game against Detroit, favoring his right leg, according to Frank Langlois of Pistons.com reports.Plumlee will be evaluated in the coming days.
Oct 5, 2015OUTKneeParker will not play in Tuesday’s preseason opener against the Bulls, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Parker went through a full practice Monday but will be rested as the Bucks open exhibition play at the United Center on Tuesday night. While Parker is not limited as far as what he’s able to do on the court, the Bucks have been cautious with him through the first week of camp, and he has not participated in both sessions of two-a-days. However, his recovery appears to be progressing well, and at this point it seems likely he’ll be ready when the regular season begins.
Oct 2, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis (shoulder) is still recovering from offseason surgery on his right shoulder and is expected to remain sidelined until mid-November, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports.Ennis went under the knife in May to repair the labrum in the shoulder, and remains without clearance to absorb contact. This should not a significant loss for the Bucks, who are very deep at the point-guard spot. Milwaukee still has Michael-Carter Williams and Jerryd Bayless on the roster, and added Greivis Vasquez to the mix in a draft-day trade.
Oct 1, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTSuspensionAntetokounmpo is looking to add the three-point shot to his Arsenal this season, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Antetokounmpo is coming off of a 10-for-28 three-point performance for Greece in the EuroBasket 2015 Tournament. An increase in that department would have a significant impact in his fantasy stock after only making seven all of last season. While he will likely put up more three-point attempts this year, head coach Jason Kidd reminds us to temper our expectations, “He doesn’t have to be a guy who just shoots perimeter jump shots. He can get to the basket, get to the free throw line and make plays for his teammates.” Overall, expect the 20-year-old Antetokounmpo to continue to grow and expand his game this season.
Oct 1, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) went through a full practice Thursday morning, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Parker hasn’t been limited through the first few days of camp, but he was held out of Wednesday’s evening practice session. It’s unclear whether he’ll be on the court Thursday evening as the Bucks attempt to minimize the strain on his surgically-repaired knee.
Sep 30, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) went through a full practice Wednesday morning, but will sit out the team’s afternoon session, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks are simply being cautious with Parker’s workload as he works his way back from ACL surgery in January. By all accounts, Parker has looked great in the early stages of camp, and it’s looking as though he could be ready when the regular season opens in late October.
Sep 29, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) went through a full practice Tuesday, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Obviously, this is a great sign for Parker and the Bucks, as Parker is still just 10 months removed from surgery to repair a torn ACL. It remains unclear whether the Bucks will limit Parker as camp progresses, but coach Jason Kidd seemed impressed by Parker’s showing Tuesday. “He went the whole practice,” Kidd said. “He was Jabari. He was great.”
Sep 28, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis (shoulder) has yet to receive clearance for contact, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.Ennis will likely be sidelined for at least the early stages of training camp after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder in May. The second-year guard isn’t expected to see big minutes this season with all of Michael Carter-Williams, Greivis Vasquez, and Jerryd Bayless likely ahead of him on the depth chart.
Sep 28, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) said he expects to be on the court Tuesday when training camp opens, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Parker, who suffered a torn left ACL 10 months ago to put a premature end to his rookie season, has been taking part in informal pickup games with teammates in recent weeks, but training camp should provide a more extensive test on the health of his knee. Because he’s such an integral part of the Bucks’ future, Parker will likely be held out of some activities in the early stages of camp, but it seems possible that he may be able to take the court for the Oct. 27 season opener against the Knicks. Continue to monitor his involvement in training camp as draft day approaches. Once Parker is fully healthy, expect coach Jason Kidd to insert him back into the starting lineup at power forward.
Sep 22, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) is expected to participate when training camp opens next week, but it’s unclear to what extent he’ll be limited, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks continue to exercise caution with Parker, who underwent surgery in January to repair a torn ACL. Coach Jason Kidd confirmed that Parker’s recovery is going well, noting that the second-year forward is in great shape. “He looks extremely good,” Kidd said. “His body has changed and his spirits are extremely high right now, being on the court.” General manager John Hammond reiterated Milwaukee’s cautious approach. “He’s making progress. Wherever he’s at, if we think he can play 30 minutes, we’ll probably have him play 15.”
Aug 22, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) was filmed crossing over and dunking on little kids in a pickup game at his basketball camp.Parker is eight months removed from surgery to repair a torn left ACL, and this was our first inclination that Parker is starting to compete in non-competitive games. General manager John Hammond already stipulated the organization will bring Parker along slowly this season, so playing time will likely be reduced at the start of the year. Parker’s goal is to be ready for training camp, but history informs us that those returning from torn ACLs typically require two seasons before regaining their pre-injury form.
Jul 30, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) is progressing well during rehab, and the Bucks intend on bringing him along slowly due to his long-term importance to the organization, the Washington Post reports. “We’re going to be very conservative with him,” general manager John Hammond said. “If we think he’s capable of playing 20 [minutes], we’ll maybe play him 10 minutes. If we think he can play a back-to-back, we’ll wait on the back-to-back. Whatever it is, we’re going to be very cautious as [we] move forward.”Parker underwent surgery to repair a torn left ACL in January, and he wasn’t able to participate in the recent summer league tournament. Many players require two seasons beyond the torn ACL before returning to peak form, as evidenced by the Lakers’ Lou Williams, the Timberwolves’ Ricky Rubio, and the Cavaliers’ Iman Shumpert. Since the Bucks plan to handle Parker with kid gloves and coach Jason Kidd enjoys running deep rotations laden with veterans, Parker may not be a significant contributor early in the season. His primary goal is to be ready for training camp.
Jul 15, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis (shoulder) is making progress but still hasn’t resumed shooting, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports.Ennis, who had surgery in May to repair the labrum in his right shoulder, won’t be participating in the Las Vegas Summer League. He may be healthy by the time training camp rolls around, but with Michael Carter-Williams, Greivis Vasquez and Jerryd Bayless all on the Milwaukee roster, Ennis doesn’t figure to have a significant role in the rotation.
Jul 10, 2015OUTHamstringO’Bryant was unable to play in Friday’s Las Vegas Summer League game against the Pelicans with a sore left hamstring, reports.O’Bryant’s injury isn’t believed to be serious as he likely sat just to prevent further issues. His next chance to play will be Sunday against the Spurs.
May 21, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis (shoulder) will not play in the Las Vegas Summer League in July, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Ennis underwent shoulder surgery earlier in the week, and while the Bucks haven’t released a recovery timetable, the team confirmed Thursday that the point guard will not play in Las Vegas. Entering his second NBA season, Ennis likely would have been one of Milwaukee’s top LVSL contributors, but he’ll instead focus on getting healthy before training camp begins.
May 19, 2015OUTShoulderEnnis underwent successful labral repair surgery to his right shoulder on Tuesday, according to NBA.com.After being traded from the Suns to the Bucks at the deadline, Ennis served as the third-string point guard for Milwaukee behind Michael Carter-Williams and Jerryd Bayless. Assuming he comes back healthy next season, Ennis will likely serve a similar role in 2015-16.
May 14, 2015OUTFootInglis (foot) is expected to be ready to play in the Las Vegas Summer League, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Inglis missed the entirety of his rookie season after a pre-draft foot injury did not heal properly. The 6-8 guard/forward was billed as a defensive stopper with an NBA body, but the Bucks are really yet to see what they have in Inglis, who turns 20 on May 20. Expect Inglis to see plenty of run in Vegas with the hope that he can be groomed into a rotational player next season.
May 1, 2015OUTKneeParker (knee) said Friday that he hopes to be ready in time for training camp, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Parker said he’ll remain in Milwaukee to work out at the team’s facility, and he’ll travel to Las Vegas for Summer League but does not expect to participate. His recovery appears to be progressing as expected, and it seems likely he’ll be ready when the 2015-16 season opens in October.

Expect Dudley to return to the lineup for the Bucks’ final game at home against the Celtics.
Apr 10, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTCoach’s DecisionAntetokounmpo will return to the starting lineup Friday against the Knicks, Ian Begley of ESPN reports.Antetokounmpo was held out of Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers, and Jason Kidd never provided a clear explanation for the absence. He said that it was not a disciplinary issue, but he also failed to clarify whether it was simply a rest day. Regardless, Antetokounmpo is back in the starting lineup Friday, meaning Jared Dudley will shift back to the bench.
Apr 9, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTCoach’s DecisionAntetokounmpo is expected to play Friday, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Jason Kidd held Antetokounmpo under strange circumstances Wednesday, telling the media it was a “coach’s decision” but declining to provide a reason. At this point it looks like it was simply a rest day, so expect to see the rangy swingman back in action Friday night.
Apr 8, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTCoach’s DecisionAntetokounmpo (coach’s decision) will not play Wednesday against Cleveland, Dan Devine of Yahoo! Sports reports. It was initially reported that Antetokounmpo would be available off the bench after Jared Dudley was given the nod at small forward. Devine reported that “this is a coaching decision. That’s all we know,” at this point. Antetokounmpo’s next chance to play will be Friday against the Knicks.
Apr 8, 2015Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTCoach’s DecisionAntetokounmpo will come off the bench Wednesday against Cleveland, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Jason Kidd downplayed the move during pregame media availability, stating that he’s “just making a change.” It’s unlikely that Antetokounmpo’s workload is drastically impacted, though this situation is certainly something to keep an eye on, particularly given the strides Antetokounmpo has made in his second NBA season.
Apr 3, 2015OUTKneeParker’s (knee) rehabilitation is “going well,” according to coach Jason Kidd, the AP reports. Kidd noted, “We made sure that we kept him around the team, didn’t want to disconnect. He looks extremely well,”Parker had surgery in early January. The Bucks will be careful with the rookie and will not push him to be ready for the 2015-16 season. He could be a player that would make a nice player to stash in deeper keeper leagues.
Mar 29, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) tweeted Sunday night that he will return for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.Responding to a reporter’s tweet, Dudley said the team is merely being cautious, after he returned from a six-game absence to play in the last two contests. He had 13 points, five boards and two steals over 25 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Warriors, playing the final 18 minutes of the game.
Mar 29, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) will not travel to Atlanta for Monday’s game against the Hawks, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Dudley returned from the injury to log 25 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Golden State, but the Bucks still want him to get some extra rest. It sounds as if Dudley has a good chance to return for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls. His minutes will likely be divided between a bunch of players, including starters Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

Mar 26, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) will take the floor Thursday against the Pacers.Mayo has been absent for nine of 12 games this month due to a lingering hamstring issue, but when he’s played, he’s logged a combined 23 minutes. Included in that run is a six-minute showing Tuesday against the Heat, meaning a minutes limit almost certainly hangs over his head.
Mar 26, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) will take the court Thursday against the Pacers.Out of commission since Mar. 12 due to a lower back concern, Dudley will make his return, with a minutes limit likely hanging over his head. As a result, there’s little reason to rely upon him for fantasy production right off the bat.
Mar 26, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) returned to the lineup Thursday in a win over the Pacers. He played 12 minutes and finished the game with two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist.Dudley had missed five games with a lower back injury. Even though he’s back, Dudley isn’t much of a fantasy option. Its been over a month since he scored double-digit points in a game, and he’s shooting just 22.2 percent from the floor in March.
Mar 26, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) was limited to 13 minutes Thursday in a win over the Pacers. He came off the bench and scored three points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt) and had one rebound and four assists.May continues to deal with a lingering hamstring injury that’s kept him out for nine games in March. In his past two games, he’s played a combined 19 minutes and has just five assists and three rebounds while going 1-for-9 from the floor.

Mar 25, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) was active Tuesday but played in just six minutes and missed all four of his attempted field goals. He did have one assist and two rebounds.Mayo was a true game-time decision Tuesday. He went through pregame warm-ups but it was never announced if he’d actually play. Mayo had missed five games, and will presumably start to take play more minutes as time goes on. He’s only played three games in March, but in February, he averaged 26.8 minutes per game.
Mar 25, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pacers, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Dudley has been out of the lineup Mar. 12 while battling a nagging lower-back injury. However, he went through a full practice Wednesday, and it’s possible he could return to the court Thursday against Indiana. Dudley was averaging 21.8 minutes per game in March prior to the injury, but his production did not warrant consideration in most formats.
Mar 25, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) went through practice Wednesday and is considered probable for Thursday’s game against Indiana, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Mayo has played only 23 total minutes this month, sitting out nine games and playing sparingly in three others. He was active Tuesday against Miami but played only six minutes. The plan is for Mayo to be ready for Thursday’s game, and if he plays it will be his first action in back-to-back games since February 22 and 23.
Mar 24, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) will not play in Tuesday’s game against the Heat, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.Dudley had a chance of playing in Tuesday’s game but will rather miss his sixth-straight contest. Mayo’s return is imminent, although it may not ultimately happen against the Heat.
Mar 23, 2015O.J. MayoOUTHamstringMayo (hamstring) is considered questionable for Tuesday’s game versus Miami, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo has been sidelined for the vast majority of the Bucks’ post-All Star contests, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s once again inactive Tuesday. Nonetheless, with Milwaukee’s bench lacking firepower, Mayo will hope to return as soon as possible and will have his status updated following Tuesday’s shootaround.
Mar 23, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) is considered questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Heat, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Dudley has missed the Bucks’ past hand-full of games while nursing a sore back. Mar 18, 2015Jared DudleyOUTBackDudley (back) will not play Wednesday against the Spurs.Dudley will miss a third straight game while rehabbing a lower-back injury. He’s been banged up since the All-Star break, and it’s unclear when he’ll return to the active lineup.

In Ilyasova’s absence, Jared Dudley and Kenyon Martin have seen increased minutes, and that will likely continue if Ilyasova is held out Wednesday.

Jan 25, 2015John HensonOUTAnkleHenson left Sunday’s game against the Spurs with a left foot/ankle injury, Frank Madden of brewhoop.com reports.Henson sprained the same foot earlier this season, and the injury caused him to miss 14 consecutive games from from Nov. 26 to Dec. 23. He has typically handled 15-to-25 minutes since returning from that injury, playing almost exclusively as the backup center. If Henson misses any time beyond Sunday, the Bucks may need more minutes from Zaza Pachulia, Kenyon Martin and Johnny O’Bryant. Henson finished Sunday’s game with four points (2-4 FG), nine rebounds, an assist, a block, a steal and two turnovers in 17 minutes.

Jan 25, 2015John HensonOUTAnkleHenson said Sunday night that he twisted his ankle but should be okay, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson left Sunday’s game against the Spurs with an injury to the same ankle that he hurt in late November. While the location of the injury is perhaps cause for some concern, it sounds like this is far less serious than the previous ailment. Bucks coach Jason Kidd said that Henson could have returned to Sunday’s game, but it’s still wise to consider the lanky big man questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Heat. If Henson cannot play, the Bucks will likely need more minutes from some combination of Zaza Pachulia, Kenyon Martin and Johnny O’Bryant.

Once the procedure is complete, Marshall’s recovery timetable should clear up. While the upcoming free agent is likely a long shot to be ready for the tip of the 2015-16 season, he’ll conclude his third NBA campaign with averages of 4.2 points (on 46 percent shooting), 3.1 assists, one rebound, and 0.8 steals in 15 minutes per game.

If he goes through the necessary steps and is only suspended for 10 games his next available date to return to the court will be Feb. 7 against the Celtics. Although, it’s important to realize that he’s been off the court since Dec. 23 for personal reasons and may not actually start playing once his suspension is over.
Jan 15, 2015Ersan IlyasovaOUTConcussionIlyasova (concussion) is expected to see 10-to-20 minutes against the Knicks on Thursday, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Ilyasova will make his return to action in London on Thursday afternoon, but coach Jason Kidd said he’ll be on a minutes restriction, as he’s played in just one game since Dec. 2.

Jan 14, 2015Kenyon MartinOUTChestMartin (chest) is expected to play Thursday against the Knicks in London, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Martin left Saturday’s game with a chest contusion after he ran into the Bulls’ Jimmy Butler, but practiced Wednesday and should be ready to go. He has a very limited role on the Bucks after only being signed about a week ago. He’s appeared in two games, averaging 3.0 points, one rebound and 0.5 assists in 6.5 minutes.
Jan 14, 2015Larry SandersOUTSuspensionSanders is still out with personal issues, but he recently told reporters he was working with the Bucks to get in a position where he can play for the team again, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. While this update is still very vague, it does continue to give hope that Sanders will play yet this season. All reports have simply referenced “personal issues” as the reason Sanders is out, and while we do not know the severity of these issues, it appears that the Bucks are willing to help Sanders through whatever he’s going through. Until we get more details on this situation, all we can do is consider Sanders out indefinitely.
Jan 13, 2015Ersan IlyasovaOUTConcussionIlyasova (concussion) will play in Thursday’s game against the Knicks in London, Bucks play-by-play announcer Jim Paschke reports.Ilyasova has played in just one game since Dec. 2, but he may be an option for the starting lineup, as the Bucks have been using Johnny O’Bryant at power forward. O’Bryant doesn’t get typical starter minutes, so Ilyasova’s return could also cut into the playing time of a slew of other players.

Consider him day-to-day for now, although he will not play Friday.
Jan 6, 2015Larry SandersOUTPersonalSanders (personal) was seen on the Bucks’ bench in street clothes talking with teammates prior to Tuesday’s game, Fox Sports Wisconsin’s Andrew Gruman reports. It is difficult to say for sure if Sanders or coach Jason Kidd is calling the shots with regard to his inactive status. Kidd said he expects Sanders back with the team in the near future, which came to pass Tuesday, but it remains to be seen when he will take the court again. Continue to consider Sanders out indefinitely for now, although the fact that he was present for Tuesday’s game is a good sign.

Jan 6, 2015Jared DudleyOUTIllnessDudley (illness) missed shootaround and is questionable to play Tuesday against the Suns, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports. Both Dudley and O.J. Mayo (illness) are considered questionable, so be sure to check back before tip off if you plan to deploy either in a daily format. Dudley has played well of late, ratting eight straight games of at least nine points before providing just two points and two boards in Sunday’s win over the Knicks. He’s proven to be a capable scorer and rebounder, but he remains a risky play based upon his relatively light minutes load.
Jan 6, 2015O.J. MayoOUTIllnessMayo (illness) missed shootaround and is questionable to play Tuesday against the Suns, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Mayo continues to battle the same flu-like symptoms that plagued him during Sunday’s win over the Knicks. Both he and Jared Dudley (illness) are essentially game-time calls, and the Bucks could be shorthanded in the backcourt if one or both sit out. Check back before Tuesday’s 8:00 PM ET tip for a final update.
Jan 6, 2015Larry SandersOUTPersonalSanders (personal) was not present at Tuesday’s shootaround, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Judging from Monday’s conflicting reports, few people truly know what’s going on with Sanders, but coach Jason Kidd said he expects the center to be back with the team in the near future. It looks like that won’t be Tuesday against the Suns, however, so Zaza Pachulia is likely to make another start at center. If Sanders does return to the team soon, it’s unknown whether he’d step back in as the starter.
Jan 6, 2015O.J. MayoOUTIllnessMayo (illness) will play in Tuesday’s game, Fox Sports Wisconsin’s Andrew Gruman reports. He should slot into his typical role of instant offense off the bench. Mayo has scored in double figures in five of his last six games, although he struggles to offer much production in the non-scoring categories.
Jan 6, 2015Jared DudleyOUTIllnessDudley (illness) will play in Tuesday’s game, Fox Sports Wisconsin’s Andrew Gruman reports. He missed Tuesday’s shootaround with an illness, but should offer 20-30 solid minutes Tuesday. Jan 5, 2015Larry SandersOUTPersonalContrary to an earlier report, Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders reports Sanders (personal) is planning to rejoin the Bucks in the next couple of days.Details regarding Sanders’ situation continue to be extremely murky, as Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reported earlier Monday that “sources” informed him Sanders told the Bucks he’s no longer interested in playing basketball. However, this new report seems to corroborate what the team has been saying all along, that Sanders is dealing with an illness and has remained away from the team. Still, the general belief is that Sanders is dealing with a personal issue of some sort, but it’s best not to speculate at this point. From a fantasy perspective, continue to consider Sanders day-to-day.
Jan 5, 2015Ersan IlyasovaOUTConcussionIlyasova (concussion) rejoined the Bucks on Monday and took part in the team’s walkthrough, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Ilyasova is in the midst of the league’s concussion protocol and deemed himself day-to-day. He’s hoping to raise his activity level Tuesday, but he will not play against the Suns, and it seems highly unlikely he’d be ready for Wednesday’s game in Philadelphia.
Jan 5, 2015OUTKneeParker had successful surgery on his torn left ACL on Monday but is still expected to miss the rest of the 2014-15 season.Parker suffered the season-ending ACL injury during the Dec. 15 game against Phoenix. The Bucks are unable to give a specific timetable for his return, and most importantly that means that Parker is still in danger of missing a portion of the 2015-16 season. His knee’s response to rehab will be the ultimate determining factor, although the Bucks are expected to release further information on the longevity of his absence in the near future.
Jan 5, 2015Larry SandersOUTPersonalSanders is apparently no longer interested in playing basketball, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports. It’s important to note that Woelfel’s information comes via “sources,” not Sanders himself, but the center reportedly told team officials that he no longer wants to play basketball. Sanders has been away from the team for the past six games due to personal issues, but the Bucks have not offered any insight into what, exactly, Sanders is dealing with. The enigmatic VCU product has dealt with a number of on and off-court issues since entering the league in 2010, most notably a nightclub brawl last winter followed by a marijuana suspension later in the season. At this point, it’s unlikely Sanders returns to the team anytime soon, but it’s too early to definitively state that he won’t return this season.
Jan 4, 2015O.J. MayoOUTIllnessMayo (illness) will be available off the bench Sunday against the Knicks, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. An illness kept Mayo out of shootaround, but after resting during the afternoon, the guard said he’s feeling well enough to give it a go. Deploy him with caution in daily formats, however, as he’ll play at less than 100 percent. During the month of December, Mayo averaged 11.3 points and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 42.1 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from three.

He was close to returning over the past few weeks but was never able to clear the final hurdle and will now opt for a second operation on the foot. Inglis will not return this season.
Jan 4, 2015O.J. MayoOUTIllnessMayo (illness) did not take part in shootaround, and will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Knicks, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Mayo does not play enough minutes for this decision to impact standard leagues directly, but if Mayo is out, teammate Jared Dudley could see enough minutes to be a solid play in both daily and season long leagues Sunday.

Jan 2, 2015Larry SandersOUTPersonalSanders (illness) will not play against the Pacers on Friday and is not expected to return to the starting lineup when he eventually overcomes his ailment, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Coach Jason Kidd indicated that Sanders will have to work his way back into the starting lineup when he returns to health. Almost certainly this seems to be directly related to the solid performances of Zaza Pachulia and John Henson at center during Sanders’ time off the court. This should certainly startle those that have a vested interest in Sanders, although Kidd’s starting lineup has been a revolving door this season so all hope is not lost for Sanders to regain his position as the starting center at some point in the near future.

He has not taken part in team activities recently, and owners in should not expect him to assume a significant role with the Bucks anytime soon. In the meantime, John Henson and Zaza Pachulia have fantasy value in deeper leagues simply due their availability to play in a frontcourt, which all of a sudden is lacking impact options.

If Henson gets the green light, he could see a decent workload, as Larry Sanders (illness) and Ersan Ilyasova (concussion) have both been ruled out.
Dec 26, 2014Larry SandersOUTIllnessSanders (illness) will not play Friday against the Hawks.Sanders came down with an illness over the holiday break and did not participate in Friday’s shootaround. Dec 23, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova (nose) will be available off the bench Tuesday.Johnny O’Bryant will get the start again at the four Tuesday, with Ilyasova serving as a reserve. It may be worth rostering Ilyasova with Jabari Parker out for the season, but owners should not be expecting much from him on a night-to-night basis right now.
Dec 22, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova (nose) is hoping to return Tuesday against the Hornets, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Ilyasova hasn’t played since Dec. 2, when he suffered a nasal fracture against the Cavaliers. He went through a full practice Monday, however, and there’s a good chance he’ll be available Tuesday. Ilyasova will don a mask, and coach Jason Kidd said he’ll bring the forward off the bench initially. With John Henson (foot) and Jabari Parker (knee) out of action, Ilyasova should be able to carve out a significant role once fully healthy.
Dec 20, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova (nose) is getting closer to a return and will be reevaluated next week when the Bucks return home from their current road trip, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Charles Gardner reports. The short-handed Bucks will have to play at least one more game without Ilyasova, but he should be back at some point next week if his evaluation goes well.
Dec 20, 2014John HensonOUTFootHenson (left foot) will not play Saturday against the Clippers, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson experienced pain when testing the injured foot on Friday and will be reevaluated by team doctors Monday. He remains day-to-day.
Dec 18, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova (nose) remains out for Thursday’s game against the Kings, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Ilyasova continues to sit out due to a nasal fracture and concussion, and it seems unlikely he joins the team for Saturday’s game in Los Angeles, which concludes Milwaukee’s Western Conference road swing. With John Henson (foot), Larry Sanders (suspension) and Jabari Parker (knee) all out Thursday, the Bucks will be extremely shorthanded in the frontcourt.
Dec 18, 2014John HensonOUTFootHenson (foot) will not play Thursday against the Kings, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Henson continues to sit out and is without a target return date. The Bucks indicated last week that Henson is aiming to return during road swing, but that wraps up Saturday in Los Angeles. Consider Henson day-to-day and questionable to play Saturday. With Larry Sanders suspended Thursday, the Bucks will be extremely shorthanded in the frontcourt.
Dec 18, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTAnkleAntetokounmpo (ankle) will start Thursday against the Kings, Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Antetokounmpo will provide the Bucks with a little relief in the frontcourt with just Johnny O’Bryant and Zaza Pachulia available among the bigs. Assuming he can handle it, he should receive a large chunk of minutes due to the lack of depth.
Dec 18, 2014Giannis Antetokounmpoday-to-dayAnkleAntetkounmpo will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Blazers after rolling his left ankle.
Dec 18, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoQues ThursAnkleAntetkounmpo did not return to Wednesday’s game after rolling his left ankle. He is questionable Thursday against the Kings.
Dec 18, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTAnkleAntetokounmpo’s (ankle) injury isn’t considered serious, and he could return as soon as in Thursday’s game against the Kings, the Racine Journal Times reports.Owners can take a huge breath of relief at this news, as it appears Antetokounmpo won’t be missing too many (if any) games with his ankle sprain. With rookie Jabari Parker (knee) deemed out for the season, Antetokounmpo will have a chance to shine. He hasn’t gotten his act together quite yet this season, averaging just 12.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks per game. However, with heavy minutes and a high usage rate, he has the potential to produce solid fantasy lines.
Dec 18, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTAnkleAntetokounmpo (ankle) is listed as questionable to play Thursday in Sacramento, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Antetokounmpo went down with a scary ankle injury Wednesday against the Blazers, rolling his ankle without contact on a drive to the hoop and crashing to the floor without much bracing. While it initially appeared to much more serious, Antetokounmpo was able to limp off on his own power and reportedly wanted to return to the game but was persuaded not to do so by the team’s medical staff. The official diagnosis is just a sprain, though Antetokounmpo is likely dealing with considerable swelling. He’ll test it out during warmups, at which point an official decision on his status will be made.
Dec 18, 2014Larry SandersOUTSuspensionSanders has been suspended one game by the NBA for shoving Portland’s Nic Batum on Wednesday night, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports. He’ll serve the suspension Thursday against Sacramento.Sanders gave Batum a slight shove on a dunk attempt Wednesday, which caused Batum to slip off the rim and land violently on his side. The push didn’t necessarily appear to be malicious, but Sanders’ reputation likely doesn’t work in his favor, and the league made the call to hand down a one-game ban. With Sanders, Ersan Ilyasova, Jabari Parker and John Henson all out Thursday, and with Giannis Antetokounmpo questionable, Milwaukee will be extremely shorthanded in the frontcourt.
Dec 18, 2014Giannis Antetokounmpoday-to-dayAnkleAntetkounmpo is questionable to return to Wednesday’s game against the Blazers after rolling his left ankle.
Dec 17, 2014John HensonOUTFootHenson (foot) is listed as being out for Wednesday night’s game against the Trail Blazers, ESPN’s True Hoop Network reports. When Henson does return, he’ll be in line for increased minutes following news that Jabari Parker is out for the year with a torn ACL. Henson, Ersan Ilyasova and Damien Inglis are all out for the Bucks at the moment. Henson’s next chance to return is Thursday against the Kings.
Dec 17, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova is listed as being “out” for Wednesday night’s matchup against the Trail Blazers, ESPN’s True Hoop Network reports. The Bucks are currently without basically all of their power forwards with the news yesterday that Jabari Parker has a torn ACL. Ersan Ilyasova, John Henson and Damien Inglis are all also listed as being out, while Johnny O’Bryant is questionable. When Ilyasova returns, Parker owners will want to pick him up, and any owner will likely want to take advantage of his increased minutes. His next chance to return is Thursday night against the Kings.
Dec 17, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTAnkleAntetokounmpo turned his ankle heading to the rim near the end of the second quarter on Wednesday. He was able to walk off the court under his own power, which was an excellent sign, but the Bucks can ill afford to have Antetokounmpo miss any length of time after just losing Jabari Parker for the season.
Dec 16, 2014OUTKneeParker (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game.Meanwhile, Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Parker will travel back to Milwaukee for an MRI Tuesday night, with the results coming Wednesday. For now, it seems like Parker will probably miss at least a few games, considering how bad the injury looked, but it’s too soon to make any snap judgments. Continue to monitor the situation, and look for Khris Middleton to be the primary beneficiary if Parker misses significant time.
Dec 16, 2014OUTKneeParker will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, ESPN’s Marc Stein reports. This is obviously devastating news for Parker, the Bucks, the NBA and Parker’s fantasy owners. He injured his knee in Monday’s game, and the injury came when he was playing some of his best basketball of the season. In 25 games, Parker averaged 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals while shooting 49 percent from the field and 69.7 percent from the line. While those in single-season leagues can cut bait with Parker, owners in dynasty leagues should hold the promising young forward. He will likely never be a superstar, but he could make multiple All-Star teams, and the fact that he was able to average more than a steal per game opens up the range of categories he could be an asset in down the road. He will need to work on his free-throw shooting and three-point shooting, as well as his rebounding, but right now the most important thing for Parker is that he is able to recover from this early setback in his NBA career. Look for Khris Middleton to be the primary beneficiary in terms of playing time and shots for the Bucks.
Dec 15, 2014Jabari Parkerday-to-dayKneeParker left Monday’s game against the Suns with a left knee injury and is questionable to return.
Dec 15, 2014OUTKneeParker will not return to Monday’s game against the Suns after he suffered a left knee sprain in the third quarter, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Parker’s left knee buckled during a drive to the basket Monday and he had to be carried off the court by his teammates. The official designation of a left knee sprain is still somewhat ambiguous in terms of how much time he could potentially miss, and so he’ll likely undergo further testing to determine the exact severity of the sprain.
Dec 15, 2014OUTKneeParker injured his left knee during the third quarter of Monday’s game against the Suns and had to be carried off the court, The Arizona Republic reports.Parker’s left knee buckled while driving to the basket and he seemed to be in immediate pain after the incident. While the Bucks haven’t released a statement about the severity of the rookie’s injury quite yet, it seems highly unlikely that he’ll be able to return to the game.
Dec 15, 2014Jabari ParkerQues WedKneeParker left Monday’s game against the Suns with a left knee injury and is questionable to play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.
Dec 15, 2014Jabari Parkerout for seasonKneeParker suffered a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the season.
Dec 13, 2014OUTKneeO’Bryant (knee) will be available for Saturday’s game against the Clippers, Andrew Gruman of FOX Sports Wisconsin reports.Coach Jason Kidd was not willing to commit to playing O’Bryant, however, and said that the power forward will be limited if he does see the court. It’s largely moot for fantasy purposes, as O’Bryant scored just two points with three rebounds in two games prior to suffering the knee injury in October.
Dec 13, 2014OUTFootInglis (foot) will be active Saturday against the Clippers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. As of Monday of this week, Inglis was without a target date for his return, but it seems he’s shown enough in the days since to achieve active status for the first time this season. It’s unlikely he’ll play many minutes, however, if any at all.
Dec 12, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova (nose) has been cleared for light conditioning and will have a checkup Monday to remove the cast on his face and get fitted for a mask, Andrew Gruman of FOX Sports reports.Considering that Ilyasova won’t be fitted for a mask until Monday, it seems reasonable to assume that he won’t be able to take the court until Monday against the Suns at the earliest. At that point, he should be considered day-to-day while he recovers from his minor concussion and nasal fracture.
Dec 12, 2014OUTKneeO’Bryant (knee) managed to practice Friday but coach Jason Kidd is still unclear if he’ll be available for Saturday’s game against the Clippers, Andrew Gruman of FOX Sports reports.O’Bryant has yet to play in a game this season and will likely be limited in terms of minutes when he finally returns to health.
Dec 11, 2014OUTKneeO’Bryant (knee) practiced for the first time this season Thursday, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports. The rookie out of LSU suffered a sprained right MCL during the preseason, which has kept him out of action for the last two months. He only did half-court work Thursday, and coach Jason Kidd said they’ll wait to see how he feels Friday before deciding whether or not to ramp up his activity. O’Bryant will likely return to active status in the near future, though it seems unlikely he’s able to carve out a rotational role as a rookie.
Dec 11, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova (nose) remains out of action and will likely miss Saturday’s game against the Clippers, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Ilyasova suffered a minor concussion and nasal fracture last Tuesday and is yet to return to practice, as the swelling around has not subsided to the point that he can be fitted with a mask. Consider him doubtful to play Saturday, but he’ll likely return next week during the Bucks’ four-game road swing, which begins Monday in Phoenix.
Dec 11, 2014John HensonOUTFootHenson (foot) remains out but is shooting to return during the Bucks’ upcoming Western Conference road swing, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Henson will not play Saturday against the Clippers, though he is hopeful to be ready to return sometime next week. The four-game road swing begins Monday in Phoenix, which seems like an optimistic return possibility at this point, and Henson said he’d like to return to practice before seeing any game action. Wednesday in Portland or Thursday in Sacramento seem like more realistic options.
Dec 8, 2014OUTFootInglis (foot) is still without an update on his return.Inglis fractured his foot late October and was expected to be shut down for at least weeks. It would appear his timetable has expanded, as there are still no updates as to his return. Still, with the Bucks’ jumbled rotation, it will be hard for him to contribute from a fantasy perspective even when he returns.
Dec 7, 2014Larry SandersOUTIllnessSanders (illness) is considered probable for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks, Andrew Gruman of FOX Sports reports.Sanders was able to play through his illness against the Heat on Friday, so it seems reasonable that he’ll be able to do the same Sunday. However, he only spent 18 minutes on the court Sunday and there’s a possibility that coach Jason Kidd may limit the center for the second-straight game.
Dec 7, 2014Larry SandersOUTIllnessSanders (illness) will start at center Sunday against the Mavericks, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Sanders played through an illness Friday against Miami, but coach Jason Kidd confirmed the center is healthy and will start at center, while Zaza Pachulia comes off the bench.

Dec 5, 2014John HensonOUTFootHenson (foot) managed to put up some shots during practice Friday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has been out since Nov. 25 with a lingering sprained foot. He’s still without a definite timetable for a return, although his ability to take shots Friday is a step in the right direction.
Dec 5, 2014Larry SandersOUTIllnessSanders is dealing with an illness and will not play against the Heat on Friday.Sanders will be replaced in the starting lineup with Zaza Pachulia. The next opportunity for Sanders to return to the court will be against the Mavericks on Sunday.
Dec 3, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova suffered a nasal fracture Tuesday, and will not play in Wednesday’s game. It’s no surprise that he won’t play Wednesday, as he stayed overnight at a hospital in Cleveland following Tuesday’s game. The team says his status will be updated when appropriate, and for now he should be considered highly questionable for Friday’s game against the Heat. Ilyasova will likely need to be fitted for a protective mask in order to return to the court anytime soon.
Dec 3, 2014Ersan IlyasovaOUTNoseIlyasova suffered a minor concussion Tuesday, in addition to a nasal fracture, and will miss at least the next four games, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Charles Gardner reports.Ilyasova will not make the trip to Dallas with the team for Sunday’s game, and will not play Tuesday in Oklahoma City either. The soonest he could return would be when the Bucks return home to Milwaukee for a matchup with the Clippers next Saturday.

He’ll meet up with the team in Cleveland and should be expected to play Tuesday night, barring an unforeseen issue. With John Henson (foot) sidelined for what could be multiple weeks, Pachulia could see a mild bump in minutes in the short-term.
Dec 1, 2014John HensonOUTFootHenson (foot) said Monday that he could miss a couple more weeks, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson, who missed his third straight game Saturday, is dealing with a “dancer’s sprain” in his left foot. While he hasn’t officially been ruled out for an extended period, he told reporters at Monday’s practice that he hopes to be ready to return for the team’s mid-month, Western Conference road swing, which begins Dec. 15 in Phoenix. Judging by that estimate, Henson would miss six more contests. Continue to monitor Henson’s status on a game-to-game basis, but it seems unlikely he’ll be on the floor over the next two weeks.

However, his status for Tuesday’s matchup with his former team is in jeopardy, and with Nate Wolters (illness) also questionable, the Bucks could be shorthanded in the backcourt if one or both players sit out. Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports reports Knight practiced with the team Monday, so the Bucks are likely waiting to see how the quad responds Tuesday morning.

Nov 21, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTAnkleAntetokounmpo (ankle) participated in Friday’s morning shootaround but is still a game-time decision for the contest against the Raptors, Bucks’ radio play-by-play broadcaster Ted Davis reports.Antetokounmpo rolled his ankle during Wednesday’s win over the Nets but ultimately kept playing through the pain. That being said, the Bucks would have good reason to sit the second-year player to protect his future. An official decision will be made shortly before tipoff.
Nov 21, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTAnkleAntetokounmpo (ankle) will not play Friday against the Raptors.Antetokounmpo was able to participate in Friday morning shootaround, so it’s surprising he isn’t able to play. The Bucks don’t want to risk any further injury to their future star though, so they’ll hold him out Friday. Consider him questionable for the Bucks game against the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
Nov 21, 2014Giannis AntetokounmpoOUTAnkleAntetokounmpo (ankle) played 15 minutes off the bench Friday, scoring seven points (1-4 FG, 5-7 FT) with two rebounds, two assists and a steal during a loss to the Raptors. The ankle injury prevented him from matching up against his Brazilian doppelganger Bruno Caboclo in the rookie’s NBA debut, but Antetokounmpo was able to be reasonably productive in his short time on the court. He’ll likely to be a game-time decision again on Saturday.

In October, O’Bryant was diagnosed with a Grade 3 MCL sprain in his right knee.
Nov 19, 2014Larry SandersOUTThighSanders (thigh) is a game-time decision Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Charles Gardner reports. If he is unable to play Wednesday, Zaza Pachulia will get the start at center.
Nov 18, 2014Larry SandersOUTThighSanders (thigh) will be making the Bucks’ two-game road trip, after sitting out Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Sanders was a late scratch in Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, but will travel with the Bucks who play both the Nets and Raptors on the road in the next two games. With Sanders sitting out Tuesday, consider him questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Nets. Also, considering Sanders was ruled out at the last second, it usually means the player was close to giving it a go, so the injury is not likely a serious one. Although, with Zaza Pachulia playing so well starting in his place, they may not rush Sanders back into action.
Nov 18, 2014Larry SandersOUTThighSanders (thigh) will not play Tuesday against the the Knicks, Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Sanders was scratched just before the start of Tuesday’s game, pushing Zaza Pachulia into the starting lineup. It’s the first we’ve heard of the injury, so it’s questionable how long it could keep Sanders out for. The Bucks play Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets, so he should be considered questionable for that game.
Nov 16, 2014Khris MiddletonOUTKneeMiddleton (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Heat, Andrew Gruman of FOX Sports reports.Middleton has missed the Bucks last two games with lingering soreness in his right knee. He is averaging 24 minutes on the court over the six games that he’s played in this season, so he’ll likely be limited by minutes even if he ultimately plays Sunday.
Nov 14, 2014Khris MiddletonOUTKneeMiddleton (knee) missed his third game in the last four Friday against the Magic.Middleton has only played once in the last week. He did practice on Thursday, so he should be back in the near future. His fantasy prospects are limited since his minutes have dwindled.

After a full practice Thursday, he seems like a good bet to return to the lineup against Orlando. However, his fantasy value may be limited, as coach Jason Kidd has employed a very deep rotation thus far.
Nov 11, 2014Khris MiddletonOUTKneeMiddleton (knee) is unlikely to play Tuesday against the Thunder, Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Middleton is experiencing some soreness in his knee, and will most likely sit out Tuesday. He will dress and be available, but the general consensus is that he will not get into the game. Considering it’s only soreness, he should be able to return soon and should be considered day-to-day.

Oct 21, 2014Brandon KnightOUTGroinKnight (groin) could play Wednesday against the Timberwolves, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.Knight, who has not played since last Saturday while nursing a sore groin, went through an extensive workout during Tuesday’s practice. That’s certainly encouraging, though the team could still hold him out of Wednesday’s exhibition finale in order to give him another full week to rest up before the regular season tips off.

Oct 20, 2014Brandon KnightOUTGroinKnight (groin) will not play in Monday’s preseason game versus the Knicks, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Knight will miss a third straight exhibition game due to a sore groin, which could allow offseason signing Kendall Marshall to make another start at point guard on Monday. While it’s unclear whether Knight will be available for Wednesday’s preseason finale, his current groin ailment is not thought to be serious. Nonetheless, it should be worthwhile to monitor Knight’s status in the coming week, as he’s expected to start for the Bucks once again this season.
Oct 17, 2014Larry SandersOUTUndisclosedSanders underwent a minor outpatient surgical procedure Friday and will miss the final three preseason games, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel’s Charles Gardner reports. This is a bit bothersome, as there’s not a specific timetable for his return to the court. However, it seems feasible that he could just be held out for the rest of the preseason and return for the start of the regular season. He had been dealing with a somewhat lengthy illness, and that could have been the reason for the surgery, although it’s also unclear what the nature of the procedure was. Continue to monitor Sanders’ status as the season approaches, and if he misses any time, look for Zaza Pachulia and John Henson to carry the load at center.
Oct 17, 2014Brandon KnightOUTGroinKnight (groin) will not play in Friday’s game.It was believed that there was a chance Knight could play Friday, as he traveled with the team, although the team will continue to hold him out, likely as a precaution. Kendall Marshall will start at point guard in his stead.
Oct 17, 2014OUTFootInglis (foot) will not play in Friday’s game. It’s not clear how far away he is from returning to the court, but he should be very low on the list of Bucks who demand attention from fantasy owners on draft day.

Oct 17, 2014Zaza PachuliaOUTHamstringPachulia left Friday’s game against the Timberwolves with a hamstring strain and will not return.Larry Sanders (unspecified surgery) is already out for the rest of the preseason, so that leaves just John Henson as an option at center, if Pachulia misses further time.
