Lamb scored seven points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound, and one assist across six minutes in Sunday’s 106-73 Game 7 loss to the Heat.Coach Steve Clifford dropped Lamb from his rotation during the postseason, instead opting to give increased minutes to Courtney Lee and Jeremy Lin at shooting guard. Lamb only saw the court Sunday due to the blowout nature of the game, but he should be in line for more regular minutes in 2016-17 after signing a three-year contract extension with the Hornets back in November.
April 14, 2016
Lamb turned in 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and one steal in 30 minutes during the Hornets’ 117-103 win against the Magic on Wednesday.Lamb looks fully recovered from a strained left toe that kept him out for one contest last Friday versus the Nets. No one else on the Hornets played more than 27 minutes, and he led his team with a team-high nine rebounds. Though Lamb may be unlikely to see 30 minutes during playoff games, he has proven capable of filling it up offensively over the course of the season, and could be a nice spark off the bench in round one against Miami.
April 10, 2016
Lamb (toe) is active and available to play in Sunday’s matchup versus the Wizards.Lamb missed Friday’s game against the Nets with a left toe strain, but after going through shootaround Sunday morning, he’s been cleared to play. Over his last five outings, Lamb has averaged 4.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and one assist over 15 minutes, so look for similar production across the board barring any unreported minutes restriction.
April 9, 2016
Lamb (toe) is considered questionable for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.Lamb is still battling a sprained toe on his left foot, and the team will wait until Sunday’s shootaround to give him another evaluation. The 23-year-old was held out of action Friday against Brooklyn, but he played 15 minutes off the bench in the team’s previous game Wednesday in New York.
April 8, 2016
Lamb has been ruled out of Friday’s matchup with the Nets due to a left toe strain.Lamb has been coming off the bench as of late due to a coach’s decision. The severity of the injury is still unknown but with the playoffs starting soon, the Hornets may choose to continue to rest Lamb so he is full strength when the postseason gets underway.

Lamb (toe) is considered a game-time call for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.A nagging toe injury has kept Lamb out of six of the last seven games, but he’ll have a chance to get back on the court Wednesday, provided he’s given the green light by the team’s medical staff following warmups. If Lamb does play, it’s likely that he’ll see somewhat of a reduced role considering he’s returning from injury, coupled with the fact that Troy Daniels is coming off of a huge, 28-point game Monday against the Kings.

Lamb (toe) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.Lamb has missed six of the past seven games due to a nagging right toe injury but could return to the court on Wednesday night. He joins Nicolas Batum (toe), who is also dealing with a toe injury, as questionable for Wednesday’s game. Look for a decision to come sometime after Wednesday’s shootaround. If Batum does play, he could see his minutes heavily monitored, in which case Jeremy Lin, P.J. Hairston, and Troy Daniels could see increased action.

Lamb (toe) has been ruled out for Monday’s matchup with the Kings, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.Lamb has been dealing with a nagging right toe injury, which limited him to only four minutes in his return from a four-game absence Friday against the Magic. He ended up sitting out Saturday’s game versus the Knicks, and he’ll again join teammate Nicolas Batum, who’s dealing with a toe injury of his own, on the sideline Monday. Expect Jeremy Lin, P.J. Hairston, and to a lesser degree, Troy Daniels, to all see increased minutes while covering for the absences of Batum and Lamb.

Lamb (toe) is questionable for Saturday’s matchup with the Knicks, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.Lamb had missed four consecutive games before returning to action Friday night against the Magic. Unfortunately, he was only able to play four minutes, so his toe was clearly bothering him. He is probably more on the doubtful side of questionable Saturday, but his status will need to be checked closer to tip-off. If he cannot go, P.J. Hairston and Jeremy Lamb should see increased roles in the rotation.

Lamb (toe) has been ruled out of Friday’s matchup with the Pelicans, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.Lamb left Wednesday’s game against Atlanta due to a sprained right big toe and it’s now going to force him to sit out Friday’s matchup with the Pelicans. The injury isn’t expected to be too serious, though, so he could be back as early as Saturday’s outing versus the Bucks. Lamb (toe) is considered questionable to play Friday against the Pelicans.Lamb was forced to exit Wednesday’s game against the Hawks early due to a sprained right big toe, but it doesn’t appear to be very serious, and it shouldn’t keep him out for an extended period of time. If he’s forced to miss Friday’s contest, the Hornets will play the second leg of a back-to-back set Saturday against the Bucks, which would mark Lamb’s next chance to return.

Lamb was removed from Wednesday’s game against Atlanta with a sprained right big toe and will not return, the Hornets reported via Twitter.Lamb scored six points and grabbed five rebounds in 14 minutes before he was forced to leave. • Wrist
Date: Jan 6, 2016
Status: OUT
Lamb (wrist) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Suns.Lamb was initially listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s contest after sustaining a bruise on his right wrist in Monday’s loss to the Warriors. However, it appears his condition has improved at least a little bit, and the Hornets will wait and see how Lamb does in pregame warmups before making a decision on his status. The team has already ruled Nicolas Batum (toe) out for the game, and with Jeremy Lin (ankle) also on the injury report (but expected to play), the Hornets could be thin at shooting guard if Lamb isn’t able to go.
  • Wrist
Date: Jan 5, 2016
Status: OUT
Lamb (wrist) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s matchup with the Suns, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.Lamb suffered the wrist injury during Monday’s game against the Warriors and despite X-rays coming back negative, he’s likely going to sit out Wednesday’s game against the Suns. Lamb was expected to shoulder a larger load with Nicolas Batum (toe) also dealing with an injury, but instead, the Hornets will likely lose another option to fall back on at shooting guard.
  • Shoulder
Date: Nov 17, 2015
Status: OUT
Lamb (shoulder) is expected to suit up Tuesday against the Knicks in New York, but his workload would be monitored by coach Steve Clifford, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.Lamb came down with a strained left shoulder since the Hornets’ last game Sunday, a development that could place a cap on his workload Tuesday. Over the last seven contests, he’s received at least 23 minutes in each one, but any deficiency in this workload would likely transfer to Jeremy Lin and potentially the duo of Brian Roberts and Troy Daniels.
  • Shoulder
Date: Nov 16, 2015
Status: OUT
Lamb is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks with a left shoulder strain.Lamb was unable to practice Monday due to the injury, which he likely sustained at some point during Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers. The third-year guard has been an excellent source of scoring production off the bench thus far in November, averaging 13.6 points on 56 percent shooting over eight games. If he’s able to shake off the injury in Tuesday’s morning shootaround and play later in the evening, Lamb could be on tap for his first start of the season, as P.J. Hairston (quad) is doubtful to play.
  • Ankle
Date: Oct 29, 2015
Status: OUT
Lamb (ankle) practiced Thursday with the Hornets, and should be available to play Friday against the Hawks, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.Although Lamb did not play in Wednesday’s season opener against the Heat, his status appears to be on the upswing as he continues to nurse the ankle injury. Barring any setbacks during Friday’s shoot around, he could see the floor against the Hawks, as P.J. Hairston would likely receive less minutes.
  • Ankle
Date: Oct 28, 2015
Status: OUT
Lamb will be active, but will not play against the Heat on Wednesday.Lamb has been nursing his ankle since October 19, and the Hornets will not push his recovery too much. He is expected to test his ankle in practice on Thursday, so there is a possibility he could return Friday against the Hawks if it holds up in practice. P.J. Hairston could pick up some minutes in his stead.
  • Ankle
Date: Oct 27, 2015

Lamb (ankle) is considered doubtful to play in Wednesday’s season opener, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.Lamb continues to nurse an ankle injury sustained last week in a preseason contest against the Bulls. He sat out the Hornets’ final two exhibition games and appears likely to miss at least one game as the regular season gets underway. As a result, P.J. Hairston figures to see increased time at shooting guard.

Lamb (ankle) will not play in Thursday’s matchup with the Pacers.Lamb has not practiced or played since injuring his ankle in Monday’s tilt against the Bulls, making his absence in Thursday’s game unsurprising. Lamb (ankle) will not play Wednesday against Detroit. After spraining his ankle in Monday’s game against Chicago, Lamb didn’t practice Tuesday, so it’s not surprisingly that he’ll sit out. It seems unlikely that Lamb will return for Thursday’s preseason finale against the Pacers, but his status for the start of the regular season remains to be determined.
