Henson finished with 18 points (6-12 FG, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two blocks, and one assist in 25 minutes during the Bucks’ 109-108 overtime win against the 76ers on Sunday.Henson was allowed to play a larger role with Greg Monroe receiving the night off to rest on Sunday. Miles Plumlee started and earned three more minutes than Henson, but Plumlee produced a much more modest line of eight points, six rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block. If Monroe returns to action on Monday versus the Magic, Henson will likely see fewer minutes. However, coach Jason Kidd has been known to experiment quite a bit, and the Bucks have long been eliminated from playoff contention. As a result, it’s probably best to check who is active and starting prior to tipoff before settling on any of Milwaukee’s big men.

Henson had five points (2-6 FG, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three blocks, one assist, and one steal across 17 minutes during the Bucks’ 124-109 loss to the Celtics on Friday.Henson saw 16 minutes combined over the previous two matchups, so his return to double-digit minutes was a welcome sight for fantasy owners. With that being said, considering he played 20 minutes or more in five of the last six contest to end March, April has been a big disappointment overall (1.8 points, two rebounds, one assist, and one block in 11 minutes per contest). It’s possible Henson will get more burn over the final three games of the season, but without a sharp increase in playing time he will have a hard time matching his March averages of 9.5 points, four rebounds, and 2.4 blocks in 19 minutes.

Henson collected 19 points (8-10 FG, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks and a steal over 25 minutes in Saturday’s 115-91 loss to the Hornets. The four-year veteran continued his late-season resurgence, tallying double-digit scoring for the third straight contest. Henson has received 20 minutes or more in four of the last five games as well, and his solid play figures to garner him similar opportunity over the final stretch of the season. He’s averaging a solid 11.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.2 blocks and 0.4 steals over his last five outings.

March 26, 2016
Henson scored 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 FT) while adding 10 rebounds and three blocks in 26 minutes off the bench during Friday’s loss to the Hawks.Greg Monroe was having an off night, which gave Henson enough minutes to produce his first double-double since late November. He seems to be recovered from the back issue that cost him 20 games and the entire month of February, averaging 8.6 points, 3.6 boards and 2.4 blocks in 20.0 minutes over the last five games, but his court time is too inconsistent to make Henson a reliable fantasy asset even if you are desperate for those blocks.

Henson (back) is cleared to play in Tuesday’s game against the Raptors.Henson hasn’t seen the court since Jan. 26 while dealing with soreness in his lower back. Despite now being available to play, there’s no guarantee he’ll be given minutes Tuesday as the Bucks will likely ease him back into action while still mostly utilizing Greg Monroe and Miles Plumlee at center.

Henson (back) is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has been out since Jan. 26 with lower-back soreness, but his return looks to be imminent, as he was able to resume practicing last Thursday. With a few days to get his conditioning up to par and absorb contact, Henson could finally be ready to go, but the Bucks may not make a ruling on his status until closer to game time. Once he’s deemed to be fully healthy, Henson would likely take back most of the reserve minutes at center that have been going to Miles Plumlee for the last several games.

Henson (back) went through a full practice Thursday for the first time in more than a month, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has missed the Bucks’ last 18 games with back issues, but coach Jason Kidd indicated that if Henson doesn’t suffer any setbacks, he could return to game action sometime next week. In Henson’s absence, Miles Plumlee has taken on a much larger role alongside Greg Monroe, so it will be interesting to see how Kidd handles the minutes distribution, as the Bucks have been very reluctant to play more than one of the three simultaneously.

Henson (back) will not play Wednesday against Miami but coach Jason Kidd is hoping to have him practice Friday with the intent to return within a week, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson is set to miss his 18th consecutive game Wednesday, and he seems like a long shot for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans and Sunday’s game against the Nets as well. Assuming Friday’s practice goes well, the earliest return date for Henson is likely Tuesday against the Raptors, albeit in limited minutes.

Coach Jason Kidd said Henson (back) participated in some three-on-three work during Saturday’s practice, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson will sit out Sunday’s game against the Thunder, marking his 16th straight absence, but his participation in practice represents an encouraging sing. The big man will need to increase his activity a little more in the coming days before being considered close to a return.

Henson (back) will remain out for Monday’s game against the Rockets, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has yet to resume practicing since suffering the back injury in late January, and will miss his 13th straight contest Monday. It doesn’t appear as though he’s particularly close to returning, so look for the Bucks to proceed with Greg Monroe and Miles Plumlee as their center combination for the time being.

Henson (back) will remain out Saturday when the Bucks take on the Pistons, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has been out of action since Jan. 29 due to a sore back, and will not be able to return Saturday. His situation is very similar to what the Jazz faced with Derrick Favors earlier this season in terms of lingering back soreness. Favors missed one entire month, which is the same time frame Henson is at now, so he will continue to be day-to-day going forward. Expect Miles Plumlee to continue seeing the starting center role with Greg Monroe seeing a majority of the minutes off the bench. Henson’s next opportunity to return will be Monday versus the Rockets.

Henson (back) is listed as out for Thursday’s game against the Celtics, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.A sore lower back will prevent Henson from playing in his 11th straight game. It’s unclear at this point when the big man might be able to return.

Henson (back) is listed as out for Monday’s game against the Lakers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson’s absence due to the back injury is closing in on a month, and there haven’t been many signs that he’s close to a return. Miles Plumlee has taken over Henson’s spot as the Bucks’ No. 2 center, though he’s actually moved into the starting lineup recently with coach Jason Kidd choosing to bring top center Greg Monroe off the bench.

Henson (back) was unable to practice when the Bucks returned to practice Wednesday but he did do some work on the side, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. The Bucks still have Thursday off before they return from the All-Star break Friday against the Hornets. Still, it seems unlikely Henson will return until he’s able to give it a go in practice. The Bucks play three games in four days between Friday and Monday, so expect his minutes to be limited even if he’s able to return by the weekend.

Henson (back) won’t play Thursday against the Wizards, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson was unable to go through practice Wednesday as he continues to nurse a back injury, and the team will use the upcoming All-Star break to get the big man some extended rest. The 25-year-old remains without a timetable to return, but an update figures to come sometime next week when the Bucks resume practice.

Henson (back) didn’t practice Monday and won’t play Tuesday against the Celtics, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson will miss his sixth consecutive game due to a sore back, and Miles Plumlee will likely continue to see more minutes as the backup center in his stead. The Bucks continue to evaluate Henson on a day-to-day basis, so it’s possible he could be ready to play Thursday against the Wizards in the team’s final game before the All-Star break.

Henson (back) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against Miami, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Head coach Jason Kidd shared his doubts Thursday that Henson would be available for Friday’s matchup against Miami, meaning that the key reserve big man in the Bucks will have missed both games of a back-to-back set. With Johnny O’Bryant (personal) sidelined as well for Friday, look for the Bucks to lean heavily on starters Jabari Parker and Greg Monroe while Chris Copeland and Miles Plumlee could see some reserve minutes.

Coach Jason Kidd is uncertain whether or not Henson (back) will be available for Friday’s game against the Heat, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson has already been ruled out for Thursday’s contest against the Grizzlies in order to nurse his lower back injury, which could also keep him sidelined Friday. In his potentially extended absence, Miles Plumlee figures to see additional minutes as a backup center, with Greg Monroe taking on an increased role as well.

Greg Monroe could see extended minutes in Henson’s absence, with little-used Miles Plumlee sliding into a backup center role. Henson (elbow) will suit up Monday but is not expected to play, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson is presumably available in an emergency, but the Bucks will look to avoid playing him Monday night. Henson’s absence should open up more playing time for Johnny O’Bryant, and it could allow Miles Plumlee to play a bigger role as well.

Henson (elbow/back) took part in morning shootaround, but is still questionable for Monday’s game against the Mavericks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson fell on his back and right elbow during Saturday’s game against the Raptors and is still feeling banged up, as he was spotted icing his elbow after shootaround. The Bucks will wait and see how the big man progresses over the afternoon before reaching a determination on his availability for the game.

Henson is dealing with a back injury and did not practice on Sunday, C.F. Garnder of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. This is the first we’ve heard of the injury, so it’s likely nothing too serious, but it still puts Henson’s status for Monday’s game against the Mavericks into question. If he’s forced to sit, Miles Plumlee and Johnny O’Bryant could see an uptick in minutes while backing up Greg Monroe. We should see his status updated after Monday morning’s shootaround, but for now, he should be considered questionable.

Henson (Achilles) is traveling with the Bucks to New York, but is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Knicks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Bucks have been experiencing some injury trouble as of late, with Henson, O.J. Mayo (hamstring) and Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) all bitten by the injury bug. Henson looks set to miss his fifth straight game, but seems to be trending in the right direction with his recovery. According to Gardner, Henson was able to go through light drills Thursday, suggesting a return might not be far away.

Henson (Achilles) is sitting out Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.The Bucks will likely be down three players, as O.J. Mayo (hamstring) has also been ruled out and Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) is considered doubtful to play. Henson is missing his fourth game in a row due to the sore left Achilles’ tendon, and until he makes his return to practice, it’s difficult to count on him returning to action in short order. His ongoing absence will allow Johnny O’Bryant, Chris Copeland, and Miles Plumlee to remain factors in Milwaukee’s rotation.

Henson (Achilles) has been ruled out for Monday’s matchup with the Nets, Tim Bontemps of the New York Post reports.Henson injured his Achilles on Opening Night against the Knicks and was held out of Friday’s game against the Wizards, as well as Sunday’s matchup with Toronto. The Bucks are listing Henson as day-to-day, and he should be considered questionable in advance of Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.

Henson (Achilles) sat out Sunday’s game against the Raptors and remains day-to-day moving forward.Henson is dealing with soreness in his Achilles, so this figures to be a minor injury that won’t keep him out for too long. He could return as soon as Monday, when the Bucks face the Nets.
Date: Oct 30, 2015
Status: OUT
Henson (Achilles) will not play in Friday’s game against the Wizards.Unfortunately for fantasy owners who started Henson on Friday news about his deactivation did not come out until after tip-off, but either way, he will not take the court Friday night. Henson is apparently just dealing with soreness in his Achilles, so he should have a chance to return to action for the Bucks’ next game Sunday against the Raptors.

Status: OUT
Henson (sore left Achilles) did not practice Thursday, and will be re-evaluated at Friday’s shootaround for the Bucks’ game against the Wizards, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson’s production was solid during the preseason, and he is a valuable asset to Milwaukee’s frontcourt. Should Henson miss Friday’s game, look for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greg Monroe, Chris Copeland, Johnny O’Bryant, and Miles Plumlee to fill Henson’s minutes in some fashion.

Henson (ankle) twisted his ankle Sunday, but still logged 18 minutes Tuesday in a win over the Heat, scoring 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-6 FT) and finishing the game with four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal.Henson has been effective for the Bucks off the bench this season when he’s been healthy, but doesn’t play enough to be a reliable fantasy option. He’s scored single-digit points in seven out of his 12 games this month, and is averaging just 4.7 rebounds per game in that span.

Henson left Sunday’s game against the Spurs with a left foot/ankle injury, Frank Madden of brewhoop.com reports.Henson sprained the same foot earlier this season, and the injury caused him to miss 14 consecutive games from from Nov. 26 to Dec. 23. He has typically handled 15-to-25 minutes since returning from that injury, playing almost exclusively as the backup center. If Henson misses any time beyond Sunday, the Bucks may need more minutes from Zaza Pachulia, Kenyon Martin and Johnny O’Bryant. Henson finished Sunday’s game with four points (2-4 FG), nine rebounds, an assist, a block, a steal and two turnovers in 17 minutes.

Henson said Sunday night that he twisted his ankle but should be okay, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Henson left Sunday’s game against the Spurs with an injury to the same ankle that he hurt in late November. While the location of the injury is perhaps cause for some concern, it sounds like this is far less serious than the previous ailment. Bucks coach Jason Kidd said that Henson could have returned to Sunday’s game, but it’s still wise to consider the lanky big man questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Heat. If Henson cannot play, the Bucks will likely need more minutes from some combination of Zaza Pachulia, Kenyon Martin and Johnny O’Bryant.
