As another season winds down without the New York Knicks being involved in the postseason, rumors are swirling about the team’s next head coach.
On Monday, multiple reports indicated that team president Phil Jackson would take a long, hard look at David Blatt.
The deposed Cleveland coach, was fired earlier this season despite guiding the Cavs to a S30-11 record. In addition, he led the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals as a rookie coach last season.
While in Cleveland, Blatt compiled an 83-40 regular-season record, and a mark of 14-6 in the playoffs.
Jackson has given little indication if he plans to keep interim coach Kurt Rambis.
