Jones suspended one game by PacersMonday 3/1, 2:41 PM CT
Solomon Jones has been suspended one game for conduct detrimental to the team, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Biedrins out indefinitely with groin injuryMonday 3/1, 2:34 PM CT
Andris Biedrins (groin) did not travel with the Warriors as they embarked on their five-game road trip today, according to CSN's Matt Steinmetz.

Rototimes View: It appears that he'll be out indefinitely for now. Given his unclear return date, along with the fact that he hadn't been getting too many minutes even when healthy, it may be time to think about dropping him altogether. Anthony Tolliver and Ronny Turiaf will benefit in his absence.
Ellis not traveling with Warriors for nowMonday 3/1, 2:32 PM CT
Monta Ellis (back) did not travel with the Warriors as they embarked on their five-game road trip today, according to CSN's Matt Steinmetz.

Rototimes View: He's staying in California for now while he awaits the test results on his back, after which it will be more clear as to when he'll be able to return to action. For the immediate future, he appears very iffy Tuesday against Miami and Wednesday against Orlando, and it'd probably be best to keep him benched for this week.
Perkins doubtful Tuesday with fluMonday 3/1, 2:25 PM CT
Kendrick Perkins is doubtful to play Tuesday against Detroit as he deals with a bout of the flu, according to the Boston Globe.

Rototimes View: The Celtics play four games this week and it seems unlikely that Perkins would miss more than one game, and thus it wouldn't be crazy to keep him active in your lineup. Look for Rasheed Wallace and Glen Davis to get extended playing time on Tuesday.

Updating an earlier report, Paul Pierce (thumb) practiced today and is expected to play Tuesday against Detroit, according to the Boston Globe.

Finley released by San AntonioMonday 3/1, 12:22 PM CT
The Spurs have released Michael Finley, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Rototimes View: This has the potential to be the end of the line for the former All-Star; after all, he's been hurt much of this season, is in his 15th year in the NBA and turns 37 later this week. Still, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see him get picked up by a contending team in need of a shooting guard, as he has nice size at 6-foot-7, did average 28.8 minutes per game just last season while draining 1.6 three-pointers per game at a 41 percent clip, and could provide fine veteran leadership.
Diener released by IndianaMonday 3/1, 12:08 PM CT
The Pacers have released Travis Diener, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Rototimes View: While he lacks much size and is injury prone, Diener is a fine outside shooter with decent overall point guard skills. Look for him to get a look from a few contenders in need of backcourt depth, though he clearly won't be fantasy relevant.

Courtney Lee (ankle) declared himself as iffy for Wednesday's game against Cleveland, according to the New York Post.

Rototimes View: Add in the fact that New Jersey plays just three games this week and that Lee is far from a must-start regardless of health, and you should certainly keep him on you bench this week.
McGrady likely to be active tonightMonday 3/1, 11:17 AM CT
Tracy McGrady (knee) is expected to play against Cleveland on Monday, according to Newsday.

Rototimes View: T-Mac sat out the second half of the Knicks' game on Saturday after his knee stiffened up, but it looks like he'll be good to go tonight. Still, his minutes should be somewhat limited, so think about keeping him reserved if you have another decent option.
Blount to be released by MinnesotaMonday 3/1, 10:53 AM CT
The T-Wolves will release Mark Blount today, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Rototimes View: Blount has failed to play in a single game this year but is healthy. Look for him to receive interest and possibly get picked up by a contending team in need of extra frontcourt depth.

Trevor Ariza (hip) will likely be a game-time decision against the Raptors tonight, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Rototimes View: Meanwhile, Kyle Lowry (ankle) is doubtful. Expect Ariza's offensive workload to take a bit of a hit with the recent acquisition of Kevin Martin, though he's still well worth playing when healthy. As for this week, the Rockets do play four games, and thus it might make sense to get him back into your lineup.
Pierce may return to practice on MondayMonday 3/1, 9:31 AM CT
Paul Pierce (thumb) may be able to return to practice today, according to the Boston Globe.

Rototimes View: His status against Detroit, however, remains very much up in the air. The Celtics do have four games this week, so if you're feeling lucky, it wouldn't be ludicrous to start Pierce and hope to get three or four games out of him, though it might be best to keep him reserved for one more week just to make sure that he's back and healthy.
Noah out Monday, immediate future uncertainMonday 3/1, 9:28 AM CT
Joakim Noah (plantar fasciitis) will not be available for the Bulls on Monday and it's unclear exactly when he'll be back in action, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Rototimes View: Noah continues to be limited by the plantar fasciitis in his foot. It's been thought for some time now that this wouldn't be an injury that would be going away at any point this season, and that continues to be the case. While we all know his potential to be a dominant rebounder and fine shot blocker when healthy, he simply isn't going to be fully healthy the rest of this season. With that said, he clearly cannot be started, and it's probably time to drop him now, if you hadn't already done so.
