The Oilers have signed Shawn Belle to a one-year, two-way contract, according to the Edmonton Sun.

Rototimes.com: He scored three goals with 19 assists over 70 games with Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL last season. Don't expect much from him at the NHL level this upcoming season.

Montreal has signed J.T. Wyman to a one-year, two-way contract, according to TSN.ca.

Mathieu Carle, D Tuesday 7/13, 8:10 PM CT
Montreal has signed Mathieu Carle to a one-year, two-way contract, according to TSN.ca.

Rototimes.com: He'll earn $660,000 in the NHL and $62,500 in the AHL. Carle, who will turn just 23 in September, will be looking to carve out a role for himself on the Canadiens next season.
Maxim Lapierre, C Tuesday 7/13, 9:07 AM CT
Maxim Lapierre has signed a one-year, $900,000 deal to remain with the Canadiens, according to CBC's Jeff Marek.

Rototimes.com: In 76 games last season, he tallied 14 points and 61 penalty minutes. Obviously, he will not be a fantasy option in 2010-11.
Dan Ellis, G Thursday 7/1, 1:32 PM CT
Dan Ellis has inked a two-year, $1.5 million deal with Tampa, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN.

Rototimes.com: Ellis was a reserve goaltender in Montreal, and finished an early sting with the Predators with a 15-13-1 record and a .909 save percentage. He's a solid backup, but looks like a fantasy afterthought for the upcoming year.
