Rhys Lloyd tweeted that he agreed to a deal with the Vikings.

RotoTimes.com: Lloyd has a big leg, and was signed to serve as a kickoff specialist with Ryan Longwell remaining their regular placekicker. So he won't hold any fantasy value as long as Longwell is healthy.

According to the New York Daily News, the Giants are expected to meet with free agent kicker Rhys Lloyd on Monday.

RotoTimes.com: Lawrence Tynes would still handle the field goal duties, as Lloyd is purely a kickoff specialist, but it would be a solid move for the Giants. The Vikings are also rumored to be interested.

The Panthers have decided not to extend tender offers to kicker Rhys Lloyd and tackle Ron Petitti, according to Ralph Cindrich on Twitter.

RotoTimes.com: With Lloyd being merely a kickoff specialist, the Panthers didn't want to spend the $1 million and change it would take to retain him. Petitti, 28, was rated one of the top linemen in the UFL last year but has limited value as he's not versatile enough to play anywhere but right tackle.

Kickoff specialist Rhys Lloyd was added to the injury report Saturday, according to the Charlotte Observer. He is listed as probable with illness.

RotoTimes.com: Lloyd is fantasy relevant because the Panthers are playing the Bears this weekend, and if Lloyd sits out, it increases the chances that Devin Hester could take one to the house.

Baltimore released kicker Rhys Lloyd and signed rookie wide receiver Matt Willis off their practice squad, the Baltimore Sun reported. Lloyd was expected to handle kickoffs to keep Matt Stover’s leg fresh, but he was inactive all four games.

RotoTimes.com: Lloyd was Stover’s backup, so would have only had fantasy value if Matt’s leg fell off, which it didn’t.
