Still receovering from offseason ankle surgery, Kevin Boss did not participate in Giants practice on Saturday, according to the New York Daily News.

Kevin Boss is ahead of schedule in his plan to be back by training camp in his recovery from ankle surgery, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

RotoTimes.com: It sounds like he'll most certainly be at full health by the time the season rolls around. He remains a steady but unspectacular commodity at tight end.

Pat Hanlon of Giants.com tweets that Kevin Boss is expected to be out 4-6 weeks following arthroscopic ankle surgery.

RotoTimes.com: Boss is a regular red zone threat but is little more than a No. 2 fantasy tight end due to his lack of targets in between the 20s. In touchdown-only formats his value gets a boost.

Kevin Boss snagged a game-high seven passes in Week 14 and gained 70 yards and a touchdown.

RotoTimes.com: Boss got his score late in the fourth quarter as the Giants were trying to mount a 14-point comeback against the Eagles that fell short. He now has five TDs on the season, but Sunday's was his first since Week 11 when he hauled in two against the Falcons.
