Mike Sims-Walker left Friday's preseason game with an apparent shoulder injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

RotoTimes.com: The severity of the injury is unknown. This would be a huge blow to the Jags' passing game, but we'll wait until making any hasty judgments. Stay tuned.

Jaguars.com notes that coach Jack Del Rio has deemed Mike Sims-Walker the No. 1 receiver in Jacksonville for the 2010 season. "I think the one guy we have that is clearly the best guy in the group is Mike Sims-Walker," Del Rio said.

RotoTimes.com: That's certainly not breaking news, as the team has virtually no one else qualified to be even a No. 2. The hopes are high for MSW this season, but his injury history and inconsistent play last season certainly give us concern. Not to mention that David Garrard is a very mediocre quarterback. Proceed with caution.

Mike Sims-Walker (calf) did not practice on Tuesday, according to the Florida Times-Union's Michael C. Wright.

RotoTimes.com: At this point, the decision to keep MSW out of practice seems precautionary, and he does not seem at risk of missing the Jaguars' matchup against New England on Sunday.

Mike Sims-Walker turned in a solid effort on Thursday night, catching six balls for 64 yards and a score, but Jacksonville came up just short against the Colts, losing 35-31.

RotoTimes.com: It was his first score since Week 11. He has a favorable matchup in Week 16 going up against New England's abysmal secondary.
