New Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz has implored Bears fans to "get there early" in 2010, and promised that the team will "play fast and attack as much as we can," according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times.

RotoTimes.com: Way to temper Chicago fans' already unrealistic expectations for 2010, Mike. Until quarterback Jay Cutler stops throwing interceptions in pressure situations, Chicago's offense isn't going to be anything to be afraid of.

The Associated Press reports that Jay Cutler is enjoying Mike Martz's offense in minicamp. He calls the attack fast paced and "high octane". He did concede that it would probably be July until everyone would be comfortable with the new system.

RotoTimes.com: Cutler lost a lot of luster last season when he led the league in interceptions, but he still finished with 27 touchdowns. Look for him to sling the ball as much as ever this season and he could put up some frightening numbers.

Super Bowl winning coach, and former boss of Mike Martz, Dick Vermeil says he would "stake my entire reputation on (Chicago's) offense improving when (Martz) takes over," according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

RotoTimes.com: While it wouldn't be too hard for Chicago's offense to better in 2010 than it was during its horrid 2009 season, Vermeil is likely right. After his historic run in St. Louis, Martz got legitimate fantasy production out of Jon Kitna in Detroit and Shaun Hill in San Francisco, so one can only imagine what he might be able to do with a talent like Cutler. His hiring makes Cuter a dark-horse early round pick in 2010.

The Bears have hired Mike Martz to serve as their new offensive coordinator, according to the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.

RotoTimes.com: Look for Martz to transform this offense into becoming wide open. He certainly has the tools with a strong-armed gunslinger in Jay Cutler, a back with great hands in Matt Forte, a receiving tight end in Greg Olsen and speedy wideouts in Devin Hester, Earl Bennett, Johnny Knox and Devin Aromashodu.

Bears offensive coordinator candidate Mike Martz had dinner with team quarterback Jay Cutler on Saturday night, according to the Chicago Tribune.

RotoTimes.com: After being highly critical of Cutler on his T.V. job last year, Martz is obviously now trying to bury the hatchet. While Cutler is a noted "crybaby," so to speak, he will most likely approve of Martz's hiring considering his pedigree. No one will stand to benefit more from "Mad Mike" coming to Chicago.
