Fox Sports is reporting that Brian Williams will miss the rest of the 2009 season after tearing his ACL in the Falcons win over the Bears on Sunday.

RotoTimes.com: Williams is a starting cornerback for the 4-1 Falcons. With just 18 tackles and one interception through five games before getting hurt, however, he won't be missed in IDP leagues. Chevis Jackson is likely to take his place in the lineup.

Brian Williams has signed a one-year deal with the Falcons, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

RotoTimes.com: Williams had 82 tackles for the Jaguars in 2008, and will provide some nice depth in the Falcons secondary.

Brian Williams is viewed as the favorite to start at right cornerback in Jacksonville, according to their official team website.

RotoTimes.com: Williams will compete with rookie Derek Cox for the starting gig in training camp. Williams is a solid NFL cornerback, and was a solid source for tackles in 2008 with 83 (75 solo).

The Jaguars' website reports that Brian Williams will move from safety back to cornerback to replace the disappointing Drayton Florence. Gerald Sensabaugh will start at strong safety and Florence figures to be a nickelback.

RotoTimes.com: Williams has had a pleasant season with two interceptions and 40 solo tackles. He may need a game or two to get used to his old position, but he should perform well down the stretch for Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back Brian Williams has been found not guilty of drunk driving. Had he been convicted, he faced up to a year in jail, according to the AP.
