November 30, 2009 Ryan Longwell has long been a nice kicker who struggled for distance, but that has changed the past two years thanks to a new training regimen, according to RotoTimes.com: Longwell entered last year having hit just 14 of 28 kicks of 50-yards, but last season he was perfect on six chances and he is 2-for-2 this season as well. With 94 points through 11 games, thanks to just one missed field goal, he is fourth in the NFL in scoring amongst place kickers. |

December 30, 2008 Minnesota Vikings kicker Ryan Longwell was honored as the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after he booted a game-winning field goal to give the team a win and put them in the playoffs, according to the RotoTimes.com: Longwell's kick was from 50 yards, and came as time expired.
