Greivis Vasquez underwent right ankle surgery to remove a bone spur, according to the Associated Press.

RotoTimes.com: The team said that the surgery was successful, and he is expected to return in time for September's camp. He suffered the injury while playing in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Greivis Vasquez is dealing with an ankle injury and could need surgery, according to Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

RotoTimes.com: The surgery isn't a given, and Vasquez will be examined by doctors this week. Despite his inability to fluidly run the offense during Summer League, the team was still excited about his attitude, ability to score and the size he brings to the position.
