Coming after his game-winning shot in Game 5, Ron Artest found his groove on 10-of-16 shooting for 25 points in the Lakers clinching Game 6 victory. He was 4-of-7 from three-point range and collected three steals.

RotoTimes.com: Artest has been up and down more than any other player in this postseason. However, his defense is consistently good and he will be a vital key to the NBA Finals for the first time in his career.

Despite hitting the biggest shot of the Lakers' postseason, Ron Artest was fined for being late to practice on Friday, according to the Arizona Republic. He also took issue with Steve Nash's guarantee of a Suns win in Game 6. "That's like no respect for us. There's no respect. That's how it's been for a long time this season. I'm sure we'll talk about it," Artest said before the Lakers left Los Angeles on Friday. "Coaches have no respect for the Lakers at all. They have no respect for me. The players don't respect - a lot of the guys don't respect...I'm sure Kobe heard that (what Nash said), and I'm sure he'll do his part tomorrow."

RotoTimes.com: Some thanks he gets for making a fantastic play of redemption. Artest has been hot and cold throughout this postseason, but his defense has been consistently good. He's played well this season and accepted his reduced role. Despite some Game 5 miscues, he seems to have made progress with his shot selection.

Moments after missing an ill-advised three-pointer, Ron Artest hit a layup as time expired, propelling the Lakers to a 103-101 victory over the Suns, and 3-2 series lead in the Western Conference finals.

RotoTimes.com: So it goes with Artest, who finished the evening 2-of-9 from the field. So far the Lakers have held serve this series, winning all three games on their home court. The Suns will attempt to do the same on Saturday night.
