Bobcats coach, and long-time Allen Iverson confidant, Larry Brown does not believe Iverson's playing days are finished, according to the Charlotte Observer.

RotoTimes.com: While Brown is one of the NBA's elder statesmen, it's hard not to disagree with his statement. Amidst a torrent of personal troubles, in recent months Iverson has petulantly forced his way off of a Grizzlies team that took a chance on him when no one else would and endured an injury-plagued, forgettable two months in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, it very much looks like his career could be at its sad conclusion.

Allen Iverson is reportedly dealing with significant alcohol and gambling abuse problems and is at risk to "either drink himself into oblivion or gamble his life away", according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

RotoTimes.com: NBA expert Stephen A. Smith crafted the feature column on Iverson's troubling ways, and if true, there's nothing we can do but hope that Iverson seeks help and listens to those willing to provide it. Iverson's wife of over eight years filed for divorce on March 4, just days after the 76ers announced that he'd no longer be a part of their plans this season. The fantasy analysis here is simple; don't expect Iverson to ever be relevant again. We can only hope that his life situation doesn't have as abrupt of an ending.

Allen Iverson will not be back with the 76ers this season, according to the Associated Press.

RotoTimes.com: Team president Ed Stefanski said today that Iverson no longer wishes to be a distraction to the team and his teammates, and thus the two sides will part ways. The "R" word has yet to be mentioned, and there likely won't be any talk of retirement or anything else from Iverson's camp until after his sick daughter get better, but this certainly seems like it could be the end of the road for Iverson. Philly's young guards Louis Williams and Jrue Holiday should remain starters the rest of the season.
