March 8, 2010 Hasheem Thabeet has been recalled by the Grizzlies from D-League Dakota, according to RotoTimes.com: Thabeet was a high first-round pick by Memphis, and the 7-foot-3 center will be worth keeping tabs on in fantasy leagues. He was sent to the D-League to work on his offensive skills, which were lacking while coming out of Connecticut. |

February 25, 2010 Rookie center Hasheem Thabeet has officially been sent to Dakota of the NBA's Developmental League, according to the RotoTimes.com: As you probably already know, Thabeet is the highest drafted player to ever be sent to the D-League. While unusual, the move will give him the precious minutes, minutes he wasn't getting in Memphis, he needs to improve his currently disastrous offensive game. Stay tuned. |

February 25, 2010 Hasheem Thabeet is expected to be sent to the D-League at some point in the near future, according to RotoTimes.com: While this move is not typical for such a high pick (at No. 2 in this past draft, he'll be the highest pick to ever receive a D-League assignment), it figures to suit Thabeet well. Thabeet has the potential to be a dominant defender but is still far too raw on offense to get much time with Memphis. His maturation will be excelled in the D-League where he'll be able to start and get consistent minutes. |
