Andris Biedrins underwent successful abdominal surgery on Wednesday and will miss the rest of the season, according to CSN's Matt Steinmetz.

RotoTimes.com: And so ends a truly atrocious campaign for the Warriors' big man. Biedrins struggled to stay healthy all year long and was a victim of Don Nelson's inconsistent minutes even when he was able to take the court. In one of the more baffling stats of the season, Biedrins will finish the season having gone just 4-for-25 (16 percent) from the free throw line.

Andris Biedrins will undergo surgery to repair a small tear of an abdominal muscle, according to ESPN.

RotoTimes.com: Surgery is slated for Tuesday, and his recovery timetable will be set after. He won't be missed in fantasy leagues, while averaging just five points and 7.8 rebounds over 33 games this season.

Andris Biedrins (groin) did not travel with the Warriors as they embarked on their five-game road trip today, according to CSN's Matt Steinmetz.

RotoTimes.com: It appears that he'll be out indefinitely for now. Given his unclear return date, along with the fact that he hadn't been getting too many minutes even when healthy, it may be time to think about dropping him altogether. Anthony Tolliver and Ronny Turiaf will benefit in his absence.
