LeBron James Player Profile

A native of Akron, Ohio, LeBron James is a star forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was touted while playing high school basketball at St. Vincent – St. Mary High School in Akron, before being selected first overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Cavs.

LeBron James Awards

LeBron James’ NBA Awards include the NBA Rookie of the Year, All-NBA and All-Star. He was also selected as a McDonald’s All-American during his high school career, winning the MVP Award for that game against the nation’s top high school senior basketball players.

He owns two Olympic medals for participating on the USA men’s basketball team, including a bronze medal from the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, and a gold medal from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.

According to the New York Post, Knicks president Donnie Walsh "nearly spit up his morning coffee" when TNT analyst Reggie Miller recently stated "(the Knicks) are not getting LeBron James."

RotoTimes.com: The paper then claims that Walsh was "so concerned, he called up his former Indiana star to find out if Miller had inside information." Miller said that he did not, and was simply stating an opinion. Expect many, many exchanges like this in the coming months.
