LeBron James Player Profile
A native of Akron, Ohio, LeBron James is a star forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was touted while playing high school basketball at St. Vincent – St. Mary High School in Akron, before being selected first overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Cavs.
LeBron James Awards
LeBron James’ NBA Awards include the NBA Rookie of the Year, All-NBA and All-Star. He was also selected as a McDonald’s All-American during his high school career, winning the MVP Award for that game against the nation’s top high school senior basketball players.
He owns two Olympic medals for participating on the USA men’s basketball team, including a bronze medal from the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, and a gold medal from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.

June 12, 2009 Rumors out of Cleveland and Miami say that Pat Riley may leave his positions with the Miami Heat to become the coach of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers according to RotoTimes.com: The only problems are that the Cavaliers have not fired Mike Brown and Riley says he has no interest in leaving South Florida. Of course, we all know better by now than to take athletes and coaches at their word when it comes to their interest in other teams. Still, for the moment, consider this not happening. Until it is. |

However, he was outcoached by Stan Van Gundy in the Cavs' last series. For now, the reports should be treated as rumors alone.
