Newsbreakers
Scott Olsen, PThursday 7/29, 9:00 AM CT
As expected, the Nationals have activated Scott Olsen (shoulder) from the DL, according to the team's Twitter page.

Our View:He'll face off against Derek Lowe and the Braves today. We'd steer clear of him tonight in his first start back, though his effectiveness is worth monitoring by NL-only owners.
Stephen Strasburg, PThursday 7/29, 8:41 AM CT
Stephen Strasburg (shoulder) will not start on Sunday and will be shut down for 10 days, according to MLB Network Radio.

Our View:This is certainly not what Strasburg owners were hoping for, as he'll end up making zero starts in what was supposed to be a two-start week. Still, his condition doesn't sound too serious as of now, and it's possibly that he could start at the end of next week. We'll keep you up to date.
Livan Hernandez, PWednesday 7/28, 9:11 PM CT
Livan Hernandez pitched just 4.1 innings on Wednesday evening, allowing six hits, three runs and two walks in Washington's 3-1 loss to the Braves. He struck out three while throwing 85 pitches.

Our View:The start was just the fourth time all season (in 21 starts) that he did not go at least six innings. Look for him to bounce back his next time out against the Diamondbacks.
