After he injured his wrist sliding on Monday, Desmond Jennings is likely to miss the rest of Rays spring training, and to begin the season at Triple-A Durham, according to MLB.com.

Desmond Jennings will wear a splint for the next five to seven days after spraining his wrist while sliding on Monday, according to the Tampa Tribune's Twitter page.

RotoTimes.com: The Rays' star prospect has already started to experience his bumps and bruises this spring, and you have to hope this does not become a trend. It remains to be seen whether or not Tampa Bay's top prospect will open the season in the majors, though he'll clearly have to get healthy in order to do so.
