July 20, 2010 Manager Ron Gardenhire said that Jon Rauch (ankle) likely won't be used on Tuesday, according to RotoTimes.com: Gardenhire said that he's available, but probably won't play after taking a Trevor Crowe liner off his ankle on Monday night. Matt Guerrier will likley be used in a save situation, though Gardenhire wouldn't say. |

June 5, 2010 Jon Rauch picked up his 15th save of the season as the Twins hung on to defeat the A's 4-3 on Saturday. He allowed one hit but struck out two in the win. RotoTimes.com: The 6-foot-11 reliever is getting hit regularly, but he does not walk many hitters and limits the damage. His 15 saves ties him for first in the American League. More good news is there appears to be no sign of the hamstring injury that has hampered him of late. |

June 2, 2010 Jon Rauch has been experiencing some stiffness in his hamstring of late, though he insists it is not affecting him on the mound, according to the RotoTimes.com: Rauch has not been very sharp over the past week and a half, surrendering four runs over five innings and allowing 10 hits with just two strikeouts. Still, he's been getting the job done for the most part, and hopefully you didn't expect him to remain as dominant as he started the season out to be. Continue to keep him locked into your lineup. |

May 28, 2010 Jon Rauch tossed a scoreless ninth inning in Friday's 2-1 win over the Rangers to earn his 11th save of the season. RotoTimes.com: Rauch was knocked around in his last two outings, blowing a save in one and taking a loss in the other, so it was nice to see him get back on track. He allowed one hit and struck out one in Friday's game and is now 11-for-13 in save opps on the year. |
