After suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury earlier this week, Jack Wilson is contemplating retirement, according to MLB.com. "There's nothing I can do to stay positive right now, absolutely nothing," he said on Saturday.

RotoTimes.com: While it seems unlikely he'll retire midseason, especially since he is in the first year of a two-year, $10 million deal, if he does not come back strong this year, he might not have a choice. Stay tuned.

According to Ryan Divish on Twitter, Jack Wilson (hamstring) suffered a setback during his minor league rehab assignment and is heading back to Seattle to be reevaluated.

RotoTimes.com: Wilson, on the DL since May 5th, was progressing nicely and scheduled to return soon, but now he'll surely miss that return date. Updates on the severity of the setback will follow, but this certainly isn't good news.

MLB.com reports that Jack Wilson will begin a minor league rehab assignment for his injured hamstring on Saturday.

RotoTimes.com: Wilson has been out since May 5th, but has given his hammy enough time to heal. The rehab assignment is only expected to last five days. Barring any setbacks of course.

The Mariners have placed Jack Wilson (hamstring) on the 15-day DL, according to the Seattle Times.

RotoTimes.com: The move was made retroactive to May 6, so he could be back in a week and a half. Matt Tuiasosopo has been called up to fill the utility infield role in Wilson's place.

According to Geoff Baker on Twitter, Jack Wilson is being held out of Thursday's contest due to a hamstring injury.

RotoTimes.com: Wilson was forced from Wednesday's game with the injury and still has yet to recover. Josh Wilson gets the start in his place on Thursday and will take on the Rays' Jeff Niemann.
